I also wanted to let you know I had to clean up after power washing, and multiple times when they were painting and touch up on wood chips, paint, and tape. I am still waiting for somebody to contact me about the paint splatters, and my PATIO door being painted shut. I don't know if they tried something on my DECK door (because I noticed my door isn't opening up smoothly) but there is clearly a thick coat of paint along the opening below my deck, and you can notice the sloppy job along the brick when you check out this situation. I did fix the painted doorbell myself. I have left 2 different emails/comments without replies or improvements.

    thank you!

A reminder to your company and contractors. You CANNOT leave remnants of toxic paint and scrapings on all of our stairs, walkways, driveways, lawn and landscaping!!!
We have young children and pets that can get very ill if this is consumed!
Please be respectful and responsible of your work space as these are our homes!
The rubbish all around building #7 is disgraceful!

      Gina,
Thank you for your feedback and your correspondence throughout the project. We will reiterate to the team the job-site cleanliness expectations.
With that being said, with all large capital improvement projects, there are sequences to things to maximize efficiencies and while I certainly don't disagree with the sentiment that cleanliness is a very reasonable expectation, it's common practice for us to sweep/vacuum up paint chips near completion of each building. Please accept my apology for not communicating that more clearly.
Also, while I also understand your concern regarding "toxic paint and scrapings" the coatings are acrylic (water based) and paint has become dramatically less toxic over the last 20-30 years. I don't say that to diminish you concern by any means, but more so to lessen worry you may have.
As is customary, our project management team, myself included, will be performing a final project inspection within the next week or so, and workmanship and cleanliness are always at the forefront of the items we review. We are grateful for the feedback from folks like yourself as it helps us do our job better. This is why this public blog forum has been such a valuable tool as it promotes total visibility, transparency, and ultimately contractor accountability.
      Thanks again..have a great night!

Hi Jared- Thank you for bringing this to our attention. The crew isn't onsite as it was raining, but the crew lead said they would look at it first thing tomorrow. Thanks!

I live at 7593 - unit 7 on this plan. Someone did work to my home without any prior notice. They also left rubbish all over my mulch and landscaping.

I have a small dog and he could ingest this! He was sniffing around it and I would appreciate more diligence in the clean up effort and communication.

    Thank you,
    Gina
