Finishing Route

Welcome to your project blog!

Thursday, June 20th: Good morning!

The crew has resumed their pressure washing of the included decking areas - starting at Building #3. If you'd like to keep track of where the crew is at, they're completing about 2 Buildings a day. We'll complete all of the pressure washing before we circle back to begin the prepping and staining. Thanks!

Wednesday, June 19th: And they're off!

The crew has starting their pressure washing of your decks and are working at Buildings #1 and #2 today. They anticipate to start at #3 tomorrow. We will post their progress so you can anticipate the crew at your deck. Check the route above as it will also generally indicate the length of time before we wash your unit. Thanks!

Monday, June 17th: Hello and welcome to your project blog for the upcoming painting project at Gables at Victor Gardens in Hugo. We are looking forward to being onsite with you!

Our crew was set to begin this week, but our supplier for water trailers, we'll be pressure washing the designated decking in advance of prepping and painting, has a delay. The group ahead of us for rentals has exteneded their rental.

We're hopeful to begin mid-late week with pressure washing the included porches, including pillars, fencing, and skirt boards as well as the balcony floors including skirts, posts and railings/hand railing, and finally the staricases including stairs, skirt, enclosure fencing, and wood railing where applicable.

Thanks so much for your patience as we get everything squared away! We'll be posted a route map shortly as we designate a starting and finishing point for the project.

See you soon!

Hi - is your crew working on Saturdays? I'm in building 8 and just trying to plan for the weekend.

Morning Leslie! Thanks for the note! The crew does plan to work on Saturday...the crew is as far as Building #5 now and could make it as far as Building #8 by Saturday. Obviously, projecting the schedule isn't an exact science but hopefully this will give you a good idea! Have a great day!

I should have stated that I am in building 3.

How long of a delay is there for the pressure washing? I received a notification that it was supposed to start today, 6/19 so I have everything moved into my dining room. I haven't seen anyone pressure washing yet. I will keep most things off my deck but I have two heavy planters that need to be outside. I can move them in the day of washing but need to know when that is. Thanks.

Hi Pam, With an association and project of your size, it will take several days to make our way along the route (posted above) and wash the included decking areas. Our crew lead just notified me they are working on Buildings #1 and #2 and will start at #3 tomorrow. I've also posted this information above on your project blog. This will be updated daily to allow homeowners a general timeframe as to when you can expect us at your deck. Hope this is helpful and please let us know if you have any other questions. Thanks!

We didn’t receive notice either. I’m home with a crying newborn and can’t move the furniture myself. We should have at least received written notice before the start day.

Hi Megan - I completely understand your frustration as I have a 17month old and can empathize with a crying baby. Again, we do apologize for the late notice and moving forward, we will collectively be proactive in our communications. Please give us a call if you'd like help moving any items, we can send our crew over to help! 763-559-5296.

1 day notice for this project is not sufficient!! We should have been notified of this project at least a week in advance to give us time to prepare!

Hi Karen, In was our understanding you were also receiving email correspondence from your management company in advance of the project. We were slated to begin on Monday, but had a water trailer delay. You can check the map posted on the blog for the finishing route as we may not get to your unit on the first day. Please let us know if you have any other concerns or questions. Thanks!
