Project Complete

Greetings and welcome to your project blog! We are thrilled to be onsite at Brookwood to complete your painting project.

Thursday, June 25th: Good afternoon! 

The crew completed their painting earlier this week and Jesse our Production Manager will be onsite tomorrow to walk through the completed areas and mark any areas needing touch ups. Please leave the blue tape up for the crew to complete the painting. There are a few outstanding areas we know of that are incomplete as well.

Monday, June 22nd: Good morning!

The crew is starting on Building #6 today and will finish it tomorrow.

Friday, June 19th: Good afternoon! 

The crew had moved to Building #5. They are completing their prep work today and will begin painting tomorrow.

Wednesday, June 17th: Greetings!

The crew is prepping Building 4 today and will begin painting it tomorrow.

Tuesday, June 16th: Good afternoon! 

It’s a steamy one folks! Stay cool and hydrated. 

The crew is starting to spray their way around Building 3.

Monday, June 15th: Greetings! 

The crew is finishing up on Building 2 and then starting on Building 3 today.

Friday, June 12th: Good afternoon and TGIF!

The crew is prepping and painting around Building #2 today. They’ll finish up by early next week.

Thursday, June 11th: Good morning! 

We’re finishing up on Building 1 and also starting on Building 2 with prep work – scrape, tape, cover, and then we’ll begin painting. We are also starting to pressure wash on Phase II – Buildings 4, 5, and 6. This will likely continue into tomorrow to complete the washing.

Wednesday, June 10th: Good afternoon! 

The rain has cleared and the surfaces have dried and we are back at it! 

The crew is continuing to prep and paint sections on Building 1. They will finishing up on #1 tomorrow as well as begin on #2.

Tuesday, June 9th: Greetings! 

The crew is continuing to prep on Building 1 and will begin painting the select areas as well. The carpenters are on Building 2 and we are planning to begin the prep/paint on Thursday for Building 2. We will also be washing the Buildings in Phase II (4, 5, and 6) on Thursday.

Monday, June 8th: Good morning! 

The crew has completed the pressure washing on Buildings 1, 2, and 3. They are starting to prep on Building 1 today. They are scraping and readying the areas for paint. With tomorrow impending rain, they likely won’t begin to cover areas as they’ll get wet, but they may start on the garage fronts and roofline trim as they are continuing to check weather. Thanks!

Friday, June 5th: Good morning! 

Happy project start day! We are off and the pressure washers are humming! 

We’ll be getting started today with pressure washing Building 1. They will also likely begin on Building 2 today as well. After today, Saturday, and Monday we will have the first three buildings washed and ready for paint. We’ll begin with Building #1 on Monday, 6/8. Thanks!

Wednesday, June 3rd: Good afternoon and welcome to your project blog!

We will be getting started on Friday, 6/3 with pressure washing Buildings 1, 2, and 3 – labeled ‘Phase I’ in the map above. We kindly ask that you remove any fragile and/or small items from the outside of your home to allow safe and unobstructed access while washing. We anticipate washing will take 3-4 days to complete. 

Once the substrates have had adequate time to dry, the crew will return to begin prep and painting areas designated for painting this year. To note, only select areas and elevations of each building will be painted. These are shown above in red and yellow. We’ll also be painting the garage fronts.

We are anticipating each individual building will take 5-7 working days to complete. We will post subsequent notices in advance of pressure washing and then painting in ‘Phase II.’ 

You can continue to follow the project progress here on the blog as we’ll be provide frequent updates and use it as a tool to inform residents of scheduling or weather delays. Thanks so much!
