GREETINGS AND WELCOME TO THE OFFICIAL BLOG FOR THE PAINTING PROJECT @ GABLES OF WATERSTONE BAY IN BLAINE. WE ARE THRILLED TO BE ONSITE WITH YOU!

Thursday, July 30th: Well, the walk-through at Gables at Waterstone was a great success and the property is looking sharp. But, don’t take our word for it. We caught a glimpse of somebody on sight today that feels the same way…

EVEN JOE MAUER SNUCK OUT TO GABLES TO INSPECT THE PAINTING WORK.

FRONT DOOR PAINTING SCHEDULE FOR GABLES AT WATERSTONE BAY

As indicated on the notices we posted on your doors, our painters will begin knocking on the below included buildings on the date listed in an attempt to paint your door in the open position. If you’re home and are able to open your door to have us paint it, perfect! If you don’t anticipate being home throughout any of the days we have designated for your building, then you can schedule a specific time below. So, basically, you will have a total of 4 days to either schedule a specific time or open your door for our painters when they knock. After three unsuccessful attempts at knocking on your door, we will paint the doors in the closed position so please see below and take advantage of the opportunity to schedule your door painting at a time that works for you! Thanks!

Friday, July 17th: So far, so good through 2 more days of the second phase of front door painting and that is thanks to all of you! We can’t thank you all enough for reaching out to schedule your door painting and we are trending pretty darn good right now as far as the percentage of doors that will be painted in the open position. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Tuesday, July 14th: The fellas keep plugging away and the 2429 Building has been completed. Tomorrow, work will commence on the 2437 Building, and all that remains are three buildings! Yep, you read that right…just 3 buildings! Door painting will resume again on Thursday, and thank you to all the people that have taken the time to reach out to schedule their door painting. We appreciate it!

YOU CAN USUALLY FIND OMAR WITH A SMILE ON HIS FACE AND TODAY AT GABLES WAS NO EXCEPTION!

Monday, July 13th: Now that we are unofficially into the “dog days of summer,” in the painting world, that means that work is getting done! The crew has completed the 2423 Building and will begin work on the 2429 Building tomorrow. It’s also worth noting that front door painting will resume Thursday, and the updated schedule will be posted tomorrow on the blog. Thanks everybody!

Saturday, July 11th: Front door painting continues at Gables at Waterstone and we anticipate that today will be a big day for front door painting as the likelihood of residents being home is much higher. As you can see above, we do have some set appointments but otherwise, if the guys come a knockin’, we’d love to get your door painted! A friendly reminder that upon completion, please leave your door open for 2 hours to ensure that it dries!

Thanks everybody!

Monday, July 6th: Greetings Gables of Waterstone residents. We apologize for the lapse in correspondence but last week was extraordinarily busy with the approaching holiday. Generally speaking, no news is good news in our business so having heard nothing to the contrary from homeowners, the project is progressing precisely according to plan. We have quite a few updates for you this evening.

First and foremost, as of today, pressure washing has been completed throughout the entire property (Buildings 2429-2453 were completed today)Another round of thank-you’s are due to all of you homeowners that have so graciously accomodated what was requested via notices. Without your cooperation, these projects don’t go nearly as smoothly as things have.

Secondly, Buildings 4 (2432 1st Circle NE) and Building #5 (2408 1st Circle NE) will resume tomorrow after today’s rain delay.

Finally, you may have noticed that notices were posted throughout select buildings of the property today as we get set to begin painting your front doors. The schedule for doors is posted above and you can use the blog to schedule your desired time slot.

Tuesday, June 30th: As we approach the holiday, work continues at Gables at Waterstone Bay. All painting has been completed on 2467/2479/2483 and the trim painting is in progress on the 2495 building today. After the guys complete all 4 buildings on the North Side 1st Circle NE, they will shift to the 2432/2408 Buildings.

GUILLERMO PAINTS THE UNDERDECK FENCING ON THE 2479 BUILDING.

Monday, June 29th: As the crew wraps up the trim painting on the 2483 Building, the continue to make their way SE through the community and will be pressure washing the 2423/2411/2401 buildings TODAY. So long as the weather permits, they will continue to follow the pressure washing route and will be staining/painting the 2432/2408 Buildings through the middle of the week. Thanks again for everybody’s cooperation getting items removed from the decks to enable washing and staining!

Thursday, June 25th: The fellas are making progress just as expected at Gables and we just received word last night that we’ve added the painting of your garage doors to the scope of work. Hooray! By the time we’re through there, the property will be looking, in a word, DAPPER!!!!!

Wednesday, June 24th: The fellas are nearing completion on the stained areas on Buildings 2467/2479/2483. By day’s end, they included trim areas will be getting underway, and we anticipate that this will take 2-3 days to complete, weather permitting, of course. This coming Saturday, June 27th, we will be pressure washing the 2495/2408/2432 Buildings. As a friendly reminder, we kindly ask that homeowners remove personal items from their deck to ensure we can both wash and stain your decks thoroughly. Physical notices will be posted onsite today providing you with these same instructions. Thanks in advance!

JOSE ASSUMES THE TRIED AND TRUE “BRUSH STANCE” TO RENDER A TERRIFIC END RESULT AT ONE OF THE DECKS AT GABLES AT WATERSTONE BAY.

Monday, June 22nd: Greetings residents of Gables at Waterstone Bay! You’ve probably found your way to the blog by way of blue notices posted throughout the property! Welcome. Sorry for the slight delay in getting the blog posted for the project…we’ve been a little busy 😉

Nevertheless, the intent of this project blog is to provide homeowners regular project status updates so that you can make any/all the necessary arrangements to your day-to-day schedules. This will be particulary important for those homeowners that reside in the 2467/2479/2483 1st Circle NE area of the association, as your decks/steps are slated for refinishing this year. As you may have gleaned from the notices we posted last week, we have kindly requested that you move items off your as you are able. Obviously, pressure washing has already happened and provided we continue to get warm weather and windy conditions, the staining is scheduled to commence on Tuesday 6/23.

As of right now, the plan is to complete all the decking areas on these three buildings, then we will proceed to complete the included trim areas (deck skirts, stair skirts, deck support pillars, end unit pillars, front door & frame (including sidelight & transom windows on end units) and decorative screen below decking.

Upon completion of all these areas on the first 3 buildings, we will then be publishing our intended route and we will be providing daily progress updates via the blog.

Thank you everybody for all of your cooperation…we are looking forward to being onsite with you for the next 3-4 weeks!

STAINING WILL BEGIN ON THE 2467/2479/2483 BUILDINGS ON TUESDAY.
