Charley Lake HOA – North Oaks

Welcome to the official blog for the painting project at Charley Lake Preserve in North Oaks! We are looking forward to stating your project Tuesday, 6/12! 

Thursday, June 29th: Good afternoon Charley Lake. We’ve completed the painting of your buildings and the pump house. We’ll be back at a later date to complete the garage doors- they’ve proved to be a bit trickier to clean/prep for proper adherence of the paint. We’ll keep you updated as to when that will happen, but until then have a great weekend and safe and enjoyable 4th of July!!

Tuesday, June 27th: Good afternoon! We hope you had a great weekend and that your week is off to a good start. 

The crew is painting the pump house today. The garage doors remain and we’re working on the best practice to get them finished efficiently. 

Friday, June 23rd: TGIF! Looking for something fun and free to do this weekend? The Twin Cities are going to be bustling with activities this weekend- Pride events, Twin Cities Jazz Festival, Farmer’s Markets, and the Uptown Food Truck Festival, oh my! 

We’ve had 2 crew members onsite today cleaning up a bit. And we are pretty much a wrap at Charley Lake, albeit touch ups and painting of the pump house and garage doors.

Tuesday, June 20th: Rain over at the Roell Painting Office in Eden Prairie as well… it should clear up this morning and we may have crew members onsite this afternoon completing some prep work- caulking and scraping.

Monday, June 19th: Good afternoon Charley Lake. We hope you had a great weekend and a Happy Father’s Day!

The crew is prepping and painting the 2nd Building- 14 & 18 Anemone.

Friday, June 16th: TGIF! We made it to the weekend. If you’re looking for something fun and free, City Pages put out a list aptly named “Freeloader Friday” with events happening around the Twin Cities this weekend! Also, it’s the weekend of Grandma’s Marathon in Duluth- good luck to all the runners!!

The crew is prepping and painting on the first building- 8 & 10 Anemone.

Thursday, June 15th: Good afternoon! What a beautiful day we’re having!

Lots of sunshine and this crew is working hard! They’re spraying areas that have been prepped and also starting to prep other areas of the buildings. 

One of the buildings is prepped and taped and ready for paint. 

Spraying has begun- the soffits get their turn at fresh paint. 

Have we mentioned how important thorough prep work is?

Wednesday, June 14th: Hello and good morning Charley Lake! The crew will be back onsite tomorrow, 6/15 to get started with prep work for painting. This will include scraping, caulking, and priming areas for painting. Have a great day and we’ll see you tomorrow!

Tuesday, June 13th: Happy Tuesday! We hope your week is off to a great start thus far! 

The crew is onsite and pressure washing the buildings set for painting this year. They are tentatively set to return on Thursday 6/15 to begin prepping and painting in designated areas, this is weather permitting and it looks like we’re supposed to get some rain tonight. We just want to make sure everything is dried out before we apply the paint.

Monday, June 12th: Hello and welcome to the project blog for the painting project at Charley Lake! We are looking forward to working with and for you! 

We’ll be getting started tomorrow with pressure washing the buildings designated for repaint this year ( 8 & 10 Anemone, 14 & 18 Anemone, and 20 & 24 Anemone). We kindly ask that you close your windows and remove belongings that you don’t want to get wet from the outside of your building. Thank you! After the substrates have had time to dry out, we’ll begin the prepping and painting of your buildings. We’re anticipating this will be Thursday, June 15th, weather permitting.

We’ll be painting most exterior surfaces and will prep and finish 18 garage doors as well.
