8792/8784 Building: Project COMPLETE

Greetings and welcome to your project blog for the upcoming painting project at Highlands at Lakeside in Chanhassen. We are thrilled to be working with you this summer!

Thursday, August 25th: Hello

Good morning! The crew will be getting started on the 2nd building today. Lots of prep – paper, tape and plastic and then we’ll get to spraying the siding, followed by painting the trim. We are anticipating 3-5 working days.

Once complete, we will complete a walk through with the Board and return to complete any outstanding areas. Thank you!

Wednesday, August 23rd: Good afternoon!

The crew is cruising along on the 8760/8752 Building and working to stay out of the direct sun as much as they can – it’s been a HOT few days!

They are tentatively planning to move on to the 2nd Building – 8792/8784 Building tomorrow.

We are not fully complete, there are potentially areas we are going to replace / repair as part of carpentry allotment as well as return to complete paint touch ups once we complete a walkthrough with the Board. So if you do notice anything, do not worry we will be back to take care of it.

Looking forward to getting the 2nd Building started!

Wednesday, August 16th: Good morning!

We are needing to push the pressure washing to Thursday. There was an issue with the equipment and one of the hoses. We apologize for any inconvenience. Have a great day!

Wednesday, August 9th: Greetings Residents of Highlands at Lakeside!

Welcome to your project blog for the upcoming exterior painting project. We are excited to be working together this year!

Our crew will be pressure washing, and prepping & painting select exterior surfaces of the two buildings for the scope of this project – 8792 / 8784 & 8760 / 8752.

The pressure washing will begin on Wednesday, 8/16 and we will wash both buildings. Once the substrates have had adequate time to dry, the crew will return to begin prepping & painting process on the first building – 8760 / 8752. We are projecting that prep & painting will begin on Monday, 8/21. We are projecting that each building will take approximately 7-10 days to complete. Please be mindful that weather may alter this finishing schedule.

We understand this project will have an impact to your daily routine so we will do our best to complete the project promptly to be sure everyone can return to their daily routine as soon as possible. The best way to obtain a project status update will be posted here as we will share progress throughout, photos, and any weather delays.
