Thursday, September 29th: We snapped a cool pic of the silo the other night and thought we’d share it!

WITH NEWLY INSTALLED LIGHTS, THE SILO IS SHINING BRIGHT!

Monday, September 26th: Good morning residents of the Jonathan Association. The silo underwent the final step of transformation over the weekend and is now complete! The freshly painted, repaired, and redesigned silo is ready for viewing! This just in time for the 2016 Ryder Cup. 

If you have a few minutes, check out our video of the repairs that were done last week, Thursday 9/22. Please pardon the slight choppy-ness…we’re still new at flying/videoing with our drone and haven’t gotten to “Maverick” status yet.

Friday, September 23rd: Happy Friday folks! Hope you had a good week and are ready for the weekend, we sure are! And it looks like the weather should be pretty decent. The silo is painted, Hanson Silo has completed their repairs and roof replacement, and the logo is scheduled to go up early next week! Here are a few pictures from yesterday.

Thursday, September 22nd: Hello Jonathan Association. The silo repairs have started and the folks at Hanson Silo Company from Lake Lillian are onsite completing the work. We hope you’re enjoying seeing the progress as much as we are. Here are a few more photos from the project.

Tuesday, September 20th: And the red goes up…the silo is getting all dolled up and coming right along. We’ll be doing 2 coats of paint so depending on timing, we’ll be working through today and tomorrow. 

Monday, September 19th: Happy Monday residents of Jonathan. You may have noticed that painting is underway. Our crew is onsite priming the silo. The primer is applied to give the paint a better surface to adhere to. We can’t wait to see the progress and how the final project will turn out!

Wednesday, September 14th: Welcome to our project blog! Stay tuned right here for project updates, pictures, and videos regarding the repainting of the Jonathan Silo. There has been a lot of prep and planning in starting this project and we want to thank the folks at Hanson Silos, 612 Signs, BASF, and Sherwin Williams for their coordination and collaboration.

Our crew has completed pressure washing to clean the surfaces and painting will get underway tomorrow, 9/15.

We can’t wait for you all to see the new design unfold!
