Due to the rain today the crew didn’t make it. Tomorrow we will be checking the dampness level of the included substrates before we return to paint.

Below is a chart with approximate start dates for the deck staining / painting on each building. This is subject to change should we end up ahead or behind schedule due to weather or other circumstances.

Wednesday, August 30th: Greetings!

Welcome to your project blog for the upcoming exterior project. We are excited to be working together this year!

Our crew will begin pressure washing the decking in the first building (#33) of our proposed sequence listed on the map above on Tuesday, September 5th.

We kindly request that homeowners close their windows & remove any small personal items from the outside of your home and remove items from your deck and front porch (if you have wooden front porch) for the pressure washing to allow for safe & unobstructed access for washing.

After the decking surfaces have been washed, the wood will need time to dry and during that time we will begin painting front door frames, shutters, bollard posts, entry metal railings, gas meters, entry awning supports & garage door frames on Wednesday, September 6th in our proposed sequence.

We will be posting notices later on with a link to schedule an appointment for front door painting as we paint those in the open position. Date on front door painting is TBD as of now so stay tuned!

We anticipate that the entire project (deck painting and trim painting) will be completed within 4-6 weeks. However, your unit/building will be completed much sooner. Please be aware that the weather will likely affect our completion schedule.

We understand this project will have an impact to your daily routine & we will do our best to complete the project promptly so everyone may enjoy the remainder of the summer.
