The crew would also like to say a big thank you to the nice gentleman who bought them lunch yesterday!

A good, durable paint application involves not only spraying, but back rolling. This ensures that the coating being applied gets “worked in” to underlying substrates.

Preparing to cover more surfaces not being painted at Building 4.

Tuesday, July 20th: Good morning!

The crew has started the prep work for Building 4 this morning. So far they have covered the windows in plastic to protect them from the paint once that starts.

We would also like to share info about our process for painting, completing walk-throughs, and touch-ups. Generally, as a crew is completing a building and there happen to be some touch-ups areas, drips, or overspray, the crew will complete the clean-up and touch-ups either at the completion of the building or towards the end of the project.

Our field production supervisor Jesse is often onsite and checking in on progress. He will walk completed areas and mark areas needing touch-ups with blue tape. We will complete our own walk-through to mark areas prior to walking with a board member or property manager.

All to say is that the project is not complete until all touch-ups and outstanding items are taken care of. Please let us know if you have any questions. Thank you and we’re looking forward to continuing to refresh your buildings.

The windows on Building 4 are being covered.

Friday, July 16th: Greetings!

The crew is onsite this beautiful Friday morning and they are picking up right where they left off on Building 3 from Tuesday. The crew is continuing to prep and paint and they are making great progress on your project.

Weather permitting, the crew will be starting the stucco painting tomorrow. If the weather does not allow this they will begin on Thursday, 7/15. The crew will start on the East and move West. Please remove any personal belongings from the stucco areas so the crew has unobstructed access to paint. Thank you!

Monday, June 28th: Greetings Residents of Highcroft East & West!

Welcome to your project blog for the upcoming painting project. We are looking forward to refreshing your exteriors.

For this year’s project, we will be prepping and finishing select areas of your exterior including lap siding, soffits, fascia, metal entry railings/gates, front door frames (including sidelights & transoms), garage door frames, porch/deck support posts, deck railings, lattice and exterior screen frames (where applicable), gas/electric meters (to replicate current to match siding color), and privacy fence sections on the perimeter of the property.

We have a crew that will be kicking off with pressure washing on Thursday, 7/1 which will likely take 1-2 days to complete.

We ask that you please remove any personal belongings from the outside of your home to allow for safe & unobstructed access to these areas for the washing.

Once the substrates have had time to dry, carpenters will be back to start on the first building. We are projecting this prepping & finishing of the first building to start on either Monday, 7/5 or Tuesday 7/6

The best way to obtain a project status update and any impact it may have to your daily routine will be posted here as we’ll share progress throughout, photos, and any weather delays.

Please reach out to the contacts below if you have any questions.

We are looking forward to getting started next week!
