The crew is continuing their prep and painting on Building 5 and they are anticipating to be wrapping up tomorrow – thanks and have a great weekend!

The crew is prepping their way around Building #5. Lots of scraping happening today! Please be mindful of any blue tape around the buildings. The crew will be returning to take care of these touch up areas. Thank you!

We are back onsite and prepping and painting at both #3 and #4 today. They are hopeful with continued dry weather to be starting on #5 on either Thursday, 6/5 or Friday, 6/6 – thanks!

The crew is prepping and painting at Buildings 3 and 4 today – we’ll be moving onto Building 5 early to mid-week next week.

Building #3 is ready to roll and we are starting our prep work before we get to painting. The crew is also finishing up on Building #2 today.

Back at it with pressure washing Building #4 today as well as continuing to prep and paint on Building #2. They will begin #3 tomorrow.

We couldn’t be happier the rain has subsided and just in time for us to be back onsite at Shady Oak today. The crew is continuing to prep and paint in sections around Buildings #1 and #2. They are also pressure washing Building #3 today. Tomorrow they will washing #4. Thanks!

After yesterday’s rain, we have returned onsite to begin our prep work on Building #1.

It’s going to be a beautiful day! The crew is back onsite today and they are pressure washing the exterior of Building #2. Then we are tentatively set to begin our prep and painting on Building #1 on Thursday, May 14th – weather pending. Stay tuned for further updates.

The crew is onsite and pressure washing Building #1 today. Thank you for moving items from the exteriors of your home so that they have unobstructed access for washing and then for prep and painting.
Friday, May 8th: Greetings and welcome to your project blog for this year’s prep and painting at Shady Oak Neighbors! We are thrilled to be back onsite and completing the designated painting for this year.
This spring’s project included these buildings: 10920-10928 Abbott Lane, 5924-5936 Carter Lane, 5925-5945 Carter Lane, 5901-5921 Carter Lane, and 5900-5920 Carter Lane.
We’ll be kicking off your project on Monday, May 11th and Tuesday, May 12th with pressure washing of Buildings #1 and #2 respectively. Once they are washed and have had time to dry completely, the crew will return to begin their prep and painting — this is tentatively set for Thursday, May 14th on Building #1 and on Tuesday, May 19th for Building #2. The weather will be the biggest factor in any changes to the finishing schedule.
You can continue to follow the project progress here on the blog as we’ll provide frequent updates with progress made, project photos, and any delays should they come up.
Much like last year’s project, we’ll be completing carpentry repairs on select areas in advance of our prep and painting.
