Monday, October 14th: Greetings!

After the crazy weather we endured over the weekend, we sure are glad to see the sun!

We’ve set the final dates for door painting – Thursday, 10/17, Friday, 10/18, and Saturday, 10/19. Please utilize the calendar scheduling tool to make an appointment. This is the best way to get your door painted— there are limited times available.

Thank you all again for your patience as we’ve powered through the door painting, despite the unfavorable rain and snow. It has been our pleasure painting at your association and we hope you have a great rest of the year!

Monday, October 7th: Good morning residents of Colony Preserve.

We hope you all had a great weekend. Yesterday’s beautiful weather was very welcomed after a week of rain!

The crew is onsite and beginning to paint door frames and service doors. They’ll also be available to paint front doors if you are home to open your door and have it painted. You can leave a comment below on the blog when you’ll be home for door painting – M, Tu, Wed and we can get a crew member over to paint your door.

We have scheduled times available for later this week as well – Thursday, Friday, and Saturday and you may schedule using the calendar tool above. Thanks!

Saturday, October 5th: Good morning!

12:15pm- we are cancelling all door painting for today. Thanks for your cooperation and patience!

We like to apologize for the back and forth with information regarding your door painting today. We wanted to give it a shot since some doors are covered and the rain looked like it might taper down. But it was just too wet and windy. We are going to reassess around 12pm and see if we can keep those appointments. Again our apologies for the inconvenience!

Friday, October 4th: Hello and TGIF!

The crew is off and running and painting doors at Colony Preserve today. We will be painting some window trim in addition to the doors, but today and tomorrow they’ll be painting resident doors only. Thanks to everyone for making an appointment for door painting.

We’ll keep everyone posted as far as door painting tomorrow as the weather looks pretty wet. Checking here on the blog for rain delays and watching your email if you signed up using the calendar scheduling tool are your best bets to stay up to date. Thanks!

Bright and blue!

Freshly Painted!

Monday, September 30th: Good afternoon!

Welcome to your project blog for the upcoming door painting project at The Colony Preserve.

Our crew is scheduled to begin prepping and finishing front doors throughout the association starting on Friday, 10/4 from 11am – 6pm and Saturday, 10/5 from 9am – 2pm. We’ll return next week, Thursday, 10/10 from 12pm – 6pm, Friday, 10/11 from 12pm – 6pm, and Saturday, 10/12 from 9am- 2pm. These are the only dates/times available. Please utilize the calendar tool to schedule an appointment. Thank you!

Painting front doors requires participation from each homeowner/resident as we will paint the door in the open position.

The best way for you to get your door painted is to schedule an appointment using the calendar tool here on the blog. There are select dates and times available and the appointments are set on a first come, first serve basis and are made on the hour, ex. 9am on Friday. You may also call or email Dana at our office; dana@roellpainting.com | 763-559-5296

Once your door is painted, it will need to be left open for a minimum of 2.5 hours to dry completely. We want to thank you in advance for your cooperation and participation as we get all of your doors painted.

It’s nice you don’t update the blog until after complaints. “Painters left and delayed communicating” to you is the response I received to my email (after I had inquired via this blog and tried to call Roell). Maybe you need painters who won’t delay communicating! I know who I will never select to work with if I have a choice.

Hi Linda, Thanks for the note. We are doing our best to keep the blog and homeowners updated with current information. We wanted to give the painting a shot since there were many appointments today and we apologize for our delay in updating our sites and homeowners. They are going to reassess at 12pm as it looks like the weather is calming a bit now. We’ll be setting further dates for door painting as we keep an eye on next week and weekend’s weather. Thanks!

At a time when I’m already not happy with the association’s decision to have the front doors painted when it’s not even 50 degrees out, don’t add insult to injury by being late. My appt was between 9-10 a.m. today and they’re late. I have stuff to do and won’t be sitting here waiting for them all day. I’m on time for appointments and expect the same courtesy from you.

    Hi,
I scheduled an appointment from 10-11 but realized that they aren’t coming to the neighborhood until 11. Now it wont let me schedule another appointment.

Hi Brittany- I’ve made sure someone is headed over. They’re actually onsite now, but had 3 appointments for 10am so they’re likely starting a different door, but I’ve sent them a message to make sure you’re on the list for 10am- thanks and we appreciate your patience!
