With all of the rain we got yesterday and the combined nature of your project, deck staining — we’ll be pressing pause for one more day at Highgrove. We’ll return tomorrow and pick up at Buildings #4 & #5. Thanks for your patience and understanding!

Monday, June 24th: Good morning residents of Highgrove. We hope you all had a great weekend!

It’s too wet and too rainy today for the crew to resume their prep and staining today — we’ll see you back onsite tomorrow!

Thursday, June 20th: Greetings!

Brief update here at Highgrove- the crew resumed their staining at Building #4. Stay tuned for more updates and you can anticipate the crew to finish 3-4 Buildings per day, with good weather that is! Thanks.

Wednesday, June 19th: Good afternoon!

The crew has started to prep and stain the designated areas of your decking. And wow! is it really livening up your decks!

The stain color is really popping against the colored siding.

Split finish… just kidding. We’ll complete the whole privacy fence.

Tuesday, June 18th: Greetings residents of Highgove.

The project is coming right along, the crew is washing their way through the first several buildings today and they anticipate to finish pressure washing by week’s end. Thanks!

The crew is onsite and starting the pressure washing process. We’ll be making our way along the routes listed above over the next several days. We’ll begin the prepping and painting of decks Thursday, 6/20 at the beginning of the route and we’ll follow the same path as we did for the pressure washing.

Wednesday, June 12th: Good morning and welcome to your project blog!

Welcome to your blog!

We’ll be kicking off your project starting on Monday, 6/17 with pressure washing and with 62 decks a part of the staining project, we anticipate several days to make our way through your association to wash the select decks. We’ve posted a route map above, which divide the project into two phases. We’ll be starting on 84th Ave N at 11951 and traversing west. Phase II will begin once we’re through with Phase I and will begin at 8309 Goldenrod Lane.

We ask that you please remove all personal belongings and furniture from your deck during the pressure washing. Once the pressure washing is complete it will take some time for the decking to fully dry so you may return those removed items onto your deck. NOTE- you will need to move these items once again when we return to stain the deck.

We anticipate to return to begin prepping and staining the deck floor, deck skirt, support posts, and privacy walls (on select units) on Thursday, 6/20— weather being the biggest deterrent from this plan. The decks will need to be completely dry for proper stain adhesion.

The crew will follow the routes posted above and we’ll report their progress several times a week so you can anticipate our arrival at your deck and have items cleared.

Stay tuned here on the blog for progress updates, project photos, and any weather delays should they arrise. We want to thank you for having us at your association and we’re looking forward to working with you this summer!
