Tuesday, September 29th: Greetings! 

The crew is making their final rounds at Water’s Edge Village homes for door painting this week. Please make an appointment to have your door painted in the open position by Saturday, 10/3. The remaining doors will be painted in the closed position on Saturday. Thank you in advance for your cooperation!

Wednesday, September 23rd: Good morning! 

Thank you to everyone who has made an appointment to get your door painted – we really appreciate your cooperation and participation to get the doors painted in the open position. There are times still available if your door is unpainted. After Saturday’s painting, we’ll be finalizing the FINAL days for painting. Please plan accordingly – the doors we’ve attempted to paint will be painted in the closed position if an appointment not made by our final date(s). 


Thursday, September 17th: Good afternoon! 

We have added more dates and times to schedule your door painting. We would prefer homeowners to make an appointment for a time they will be home to paint the door in the open position. We recommend the door remains open to dry fully for at least 2.5 hours. 

Please reach out with any questions and we appreciate your cooperation and participation to get the doors painted. Thank you!

Thursday, September 10th: Good morning!

Off to a chilly start, but the crew is onsite and ready to tackle today’s door appointments. Just to note, we did have some delays. last week because of the prep needed on many of the doors. Please note they may be running a bit behind. Thanks and have a great day!

Friday, September 4th: Good morning! 

The door painting has begun! 

We appreciate those with appointments yesterday and their flexibility to push back their appointment times. Many of the doors are requiring more thorough prep and priming than anticipated, which the primer needs to dry before applying the top coat so we appreciate your patience and cooperation.

Thursday, September 3rd: Good afternoon! 

The crew is onsite painting residence doors. The best way to get your door painted is to make an appointment above – Phase I is this week and Phase II is next week. Thank you! 

Wednesday, September 2nd: Greetings! 

Prep and painting of your door frames continue. We’ll begin door painting tomorrow. If you are in Phase 1 — highlighted in BLUE — please make an appointment for Thursday 9/3, Friday 9/4 or Saturday 9/5. Thank you!

Tuesday, September 1st: Good afternoon! 

The crew is off and running at Water’s Edge with prepping and painting your door frames. We’re starting in the SE corner of the association on Evergreen and making our way West – please see the route map above. We’ll begin with prep and painting of door frames and then start to paint your doors on Thursday, 9/3. Thanks!

Monday, August 31st: Good morning! 

The crew will not be onsite due to the rain. They’ll begin painting door frames tomorrow and then will paint doors in PHASE 1 starting on Thursday, 9/3. Thanks!

Wednesday, August 26th: Good morning! 

Welcome to your project blog for the upcoming painting project at Water’s Edge. We’ll be kicking off your project on Monday, 8/31 with painting. 

We will be painting your entry doors and entry door frames. The crew will be knocking on unit doors in the community and if you are available, please open the door to have us paint. The painters have been instructed to follow Covid-19 protocol while painting your door. If you prefer to schedule a specific time to have your door painted, please use the calendar tool above to schedule a time on Thursday, 9/3, Friday, 9/4, or Saturday, 9/5 for PHASE 1 and then Thursday, 9/10, Friday, 9/11, and Saturday, 9/12 for PHASE 2. Because there are 222 (!) doors to be painted, we’ll complete the doors in phases to minimize the time spent traversing the community between appointments. Thanks for your cooperation!

We will schedule a ‘final’ attempt/date for painting if these upcoming weeks will not work for you. 

We appreciate your cooperation and participation in door painting as we will need the door open to paint it. Once painted, the door must remain OPEN for 2.5 hours to allow sufficient dry time. We will not be responsible for damages caused by closing the door too soon.
