Wednesday, October 17th: Greetings and good afternoon!

Now this is what we’re talking about — the sun is shining, the leaves are turning, and it feels like fall!

The crew is finishing up the last couple decks at Lake Minnetonka Woods. We also have a handful of doors remaining to paint. We are hopeful to tackle them all on Saturday so please comment with a specific time here on the blog or call our office- 763-559-5296. Thanks!

Monday, October 15th: Good morning and happy Monday!

After an early snowfall yesterday, we are glad to see the sun is shining and all the snow has melted. Mother Nature is quite tricky!

If you are in buildings 5-8 and would like to schedule a specific time to have your door painted, please comment below or call our office 763-559-5296. We’ll be onsite today and tomorrow and then Saturday. Also, the crew has about 9 upper decks left to paint the wooden substrates and should wrap up mid-week. Thanks!

Friday, October 12th: Hello and TGIF!

The crew is continuing to make their way around and knock on resident doors for painting. Again, please open your door if you are home and have the time, we appreciate it!

Thursday, October 11th: Good morning!

Is it true?! There is no rain in sight for the next several days!

Though it isn’t raining, it’s too wet to be applying the paint to the wood substrates. However, the crew is making their way around Buildings 1- 4 and knocking on doors. If you’re home and have some time, please open your door (s) to have them painted by our crew. Otherwise, please schedule a specific time for us to come back and paint. You can do so below on our blog or by calling our office: 763-559-5296.

*Also to note, the crew will be onsite on Sunday to continue to knock on doors. We want to make ourselves as available as possible to paint your doors while in the open position. Thanks!

Wednesday, October 10th: Good afternoon!

** Update on scheduling. We are going to change the appointment times to 1.5 hour slots to accommodate for the 2/3 doors being painted, 2 coats. Please note the adjusted times above. Thanks in advance for your understanding!

Monday, October 8th: Good Morning! We have ourselves a rain delay. We’ll resume as weather allows.

We’ll soon be posting notices for the front door and deck door painting. We’ll need some cooperation from homeowners as we prefer to paint the doors in the open position.

Door painting will take place on Thursday, 10/11, Friday, 10/12, and Saturday, 10/13 for BUILDINGS 1, 2, 3, and 4 ONLY.

Door painting will take place on Monday, 10/15, Tuesday, 10/16, and Saturday, 10/20 for BUILDINGS 5, 6, 7, and 8 ONLY.

You may comment on the blog – down at the bottom ‘Leave a Comment’ with your preferred time, we’ll have 2 slots available on the hour from 9am until 4pm and they’ll be taken on a first come, first serve basis. Thanks!

Friday, October 5th: Hello and TGIF!

THIS ABOUT SUMS UP OUR MOOD REGARDING THE RECENT WEATHER.

The crews will resume their painting of your decks as the rain subsides and weather allows. Thanks and have a great weekend!

Thursday, October 4th: Greetings!

The crew has about 20 of the decks remaining and we are tentatively planning to finish up Saturday, as long as the weather holds up.

Wednesday, October 3rd: Good afternoon residents of Lake Minnetonka Woods.

All of this cooler weather, mist, fog, and rain has kept our crews from completing your deck as quickly as we’d like, but we do appreciate your patience as we are completing the painting as we are able. Thanks!

PROJECT CHECK-IN WITH ISAAC

Monday, October 1st: Hello and just like that it’s October! There sure is a crispness to the air and we like it! ‘Tis the season for apple orchards, all things pumpkin, Halloween costumes, and Hocus Pocus. Happy Fall ya’ll!

The crews isn’t onsite today due to rain and they’ll resume as the weather allows. The site supervisor estimates about 20 decks remaining, they’ll be wrapping up this week. Thanks!

Friday, September 28th: Hello and TGIF!

We had ourselves some Friday fun at the Roell Painting Office this afternoon – Painter Appreciation BBQ, complete with a Dunk Tank!

NOT A GOOD DAY TO BE THE BOSS : )

Check out our Facebook Link for more of the action.

The crew is rounding the corner at Lake Minnetonka Woods – and making their way onto Livingston Avenue. Thanks and have a great weekend!

Thursday, September 27th: Good afternoon residents of Lake Minnetonka Woods!

The crew is makig their way across the the buildings and painting your decking components. We’ll post pictures shortly and specifics as to their progress. Thanks!

Tuesday, September 25th: Rain Delay. The crews will resume their prep and painting as the weather allows, likely tomorrow 9/26. Thanks!

Though this weather has stopped our crew, you can carry on and celebrate today as ‘One Hit Wonder Day‘ and take a walk down memory lane to relive briefly successful songs through the decades. Some of our favs are, Video Killed the Radio Star by The Buggles, Tubthumping by Chumbawamba, or fitting for today, Milli Vanilli’s Blame in on the Rain?!

Monday, September 24th: Good morning residents of Lake Minnetonka Woods! We hop you all had a great weekend. We finally got a break from the rain and even got some much deserved sunshine!

The crew was onsite over the weekend to start painting the garage doors frames. They’re back onsite today to resume their painting of your deck components. Thanks again for your patience as we had to press pause with all of the rain.

We’ll post pictures soon!

Friday, September 21st: TGIF! It’s still too wet to resume staining at Minnetonka Woods today, however if weather allows, the crew may begin painting your garage door frames tomorrow. Thanks!

Thursday, September 20th: Good morning! We’ve got ourselves another rain day folks. As Isaac mentioned in his video yesterday, we’ll need your deck components to be dried out completely so moisture is not trapped. At this point, with rain forecasted for the better part of today, we project to retrun early to mid-week next week. Thanks for your patience as we can’t control what Mother Nature throws at us!

Wednesday, September 19th: Rain Delay

Here’s a brief update to project progress.

Tuesday, September 18th: Good morning!

It’s a rain day for our crew, but we wanted to update their progress. They’ve completed the first building  along the route and are in progress on the second building. As the weather allows they’ll return onsite to complete the 2nd building and then move onto the homes on Livingston Ave. With rain forecasted for tomorrow and potentially Wednesday, they’ll return early next week. When we’re painting wood surfaces, we want to make sure everything is completely dried out. Thanks for your patience!

The crew returned onsite yesterday to begin their prep and staining. We’ll be completing your deck railings, spindles, and skirts. We’ll also be painting your garage door frames and at the tail end of the project we’ll be painting your residence front doors, which will take some cooperation from homeowners as we prefer to paint them in the open position. But we will be posting subsequent information as we near that portion of the project. Thanks!
