Waycliffe HOA – Wayzata

PROJECT COMPLETE

Greetings and welcome to your project blog for this spring’s painting project at Waycliffe in Wayzata! We are thrilled to be back onsite and to be painting 4 Buildings.

Monday, June 4th: Hello and Happy June!!

The crew has wrapped up your project and is completing their touch ups today. We want to say thank you for granting us the privilege of working with and for you this year and we hope you enjoy your newly painted buildings! Thanks and have a great rest of the summer and year!

Thursday, May 31st: Sorry for the brief check in guys, but we are busy in the field checking on projects! Projected completion by Saturday.

Wednesday, May 30th: Hello and happy Wednesday!

The crews are not onsite today due to weather. We’ll be tracking the rain and will let you know when the surfaces have sufficiently dried out allowing the painting to resume.

The anticipated schedule for the remainder of the week is to wrap up the 415/425 Building tomorrow and then begin on the last Building, 355/365 which should then be complete on Monday, 6/4. Thanks!

Tuesday, May 29th: Good afternoon residents of Waycliffe! We hope you all had a great weekend!

It’s going to be another hot week – it’s crazy to think that on March 29th we were admist a blizzard. I think we’ll take the heat over the snow!

The crew is wrapping up on the 415/425 Building today and will then start the final Building, 355/365. And as long as we have some good weather this week, we should be all finished by Friday. Thanks!

Give me the green light!

Wishing you a beautiful Memorial Day weekend. In honor of all the veterans as well as the active service members. Thank you for all you do.

Thursday, May 24th: Greetings!

It’s a scorcher out there! And this is only the beginning – the weekend ahead looks hot, hot, hot!

The crew is continuing on the 605/615 Building and will finish it up tomorrow. We’ll then complete an extensive clean up to ensure your homes are looking spiffy and BBQ-ready for the holiday weekend!

Monday, May 21st: Good afternoon and happy Monday!

We hope you all had a great weekend! It’s the start of a new week and the crew is back to the grind. They’re continuing to prep and paint on the 470/480 Building and will be completing it today as well. They’ll then begin on the 2nd Building – 605/615 Building tomorrow.

The soffits are painted and now we are taking down the plastic.

Friday, May 18th: Hello and TGIF!

The weather looks pretty good for this weekend, with the possibility of some passing showers, but mostly warm and dry, which is good news for Art-a-Whirl. The event is this weekend and entails open art studios, workshops, markets, and any/all reasons to get out and enjoy exploring and connecting with the artist community in Northeast Minneapolis- read also that a lot of local breweries and establishments have coordinating events as well!  And let’s not forget the Royal Wedding and more importantly don’t forget to set an alarm- 6am is when the festivites are starting. Brit’s Pub on Nicollet Ave is hosting a viewing party from 5am-9am. Cheers!

The crew at Waycliffe is continuing their prep work and painting on the first building 470/480 and will anticipate they’ll continue through Tuesday and then move onto the 605/615 building.

Have a great weekend!

Brush and roll, repeat!

Spraying on the siding color.

Thursday, May 17th: Good afternoon!

The Royal Wedding is in two days and social media is having a heyday as many people have been following along in the planning since Prince Harry and Megan Markle’s engagement. One thing we’re looking forward to is Will Ferrell and Molly Shannon’s revival of their TV fictional characters Cord and Tish to live broadcast their coverage of the Royal Wedding on HBO on Saturday.

Cord and Tish chat Royal Wedding on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon.

We are off and running at Waycliffe! The crew has started on your painting project and are starting at the 470/480 Building. Once they get going a bit, we’ll be able to judge how much time they’ll take to paint each building and can post a more specific timeline of completion. They also pressure washed the last two buildings – 415/425 and 355/365 today.

Pressure washing the 415/425 & 355/365 Buildings today.

Prepping and painting is underway on the 470/480 Building.

Wednesday, May 16th: Greetings residents of Waycliffe!

We hope you’re all having a great week so far. We wanted to keep you updated of our schedule and we’ll be starting your project tomorrow, 5/17. The carpentry was wrapping up ahead of us and once it’s complete our crew will be off and running. Thanks!

Friday, May 11th: Good morning and TGIF! It looks like today is the last of the rain for a few days and just in time for the weekend. And Sunday, Mother’s Day looks to be the best day! We hope you have a great weekend and are able to celebrate the important women in your life – Happy Mother’s Day to all of you Moms : )

The rain is no obstacle for our crew at Waycliffe today. They’re pressure washing the 470/480 Building and the 605/615 Building today. And once the areas dry, we’ll be back onsite to begin prepping and painting on Monday.

Jimmy Fallon is always ready to crack a joke or poke fun… and here is nothing short of that. We all know Moms have some great dance moves ; )

Wednesday, May 9th: Hello and welcome to your project blog for the upcoming painting project at Waycliffe. The project scope includes the prep and painting of 4 Buildings, 470/480, 605/615, 415/425, and 355/365. We’ll begin by pressure washing the included surfaces on Friday, May 11th and we’ll start with the first 2 Buildings listed above. We ask that you please remove any personal items from your deck for the pressure washing and small items from the outside of your home to allow for safe and unobstructed access for washing. Once the washing is complete, you may return the items to your deck.

Once the substrates have had adequate time to dry, the crew will return to begin prepping and finishing of the included surfaces. We anticipate that prep work will start on the first building on Monday, May 14th.

We anticipate that the project to take about 4-6 days to complete each home. Stay tuned here on the blog for project status updates, schedule updates, and any weather delays if they occur. Thanks so much for having us and we’re looking forward to being onsite!
