Oak Woode Ponds – Oakdale

Greetings and welcome to your project blog for the upcoming painting project at Oak Woode Ponds in Oakdale. We’re thrilled to be back onsite this summer!

Monday, August 31st: Good morning! 

We will be painting doors starting on Thursday, 9/3. You can make an appointment using the calendar above for Thursday 9/3, Friday 9/4, and Saturday 9/5 between 9am and 5pm. The crew will prioritize the scheduled door appointments, but will be knocking on doors when there are not appointments. If you are home kindly open your door to be painted or make an appointment using the calendar above. Thank you!

It’s a beautiful day to be painting at Oak Woode Ponds! 

The crew is making their way around your buildings painting – shutters and garage doors. 

Wednesday, August 26th: Good afternoon! 

The crew is continuing at Oak Woode Ponds — painting in sections depending on paint colors used. 

Tuesday, August 25th: Greetings! 

The crew is now prepping and painting your garage doors and shutters at Oak Woode Ponds Building 3. They have completed the metal railings and will be painting by colors for the remaining areas – shutters, garages, doors, etc. This will allow better efficiencies than using multiple colors each day on one building. This means they’ll be moving from building to building and not working through the route. Thanks in advance for your cooperation! 

Monday, August 24th: Good morning! 

The crew will not be onsite today with the overnight and morning rain. We’ll resume tomorrow – thanks! 

Thursday, August 20th: Good morning! 

The crew is continuing to prep and paint the metal railings – working at Building 11 currently. 

Wednesday, August 19th: Good afternoon! 

The crew is picking back up at Building 3 and will be moving along the route to initially paint the railings. 

Tuesday, August 18th: Greetings! 

The crew has completed the pressure washing of your included buildings and they’ve started to prep and paint the metal railings while we are finalizing the colors and approving matches. 

Friday, August 14th: Good morning and Happy Friday! 

The crew is onsite and pressure washing the garage doors/frames and also the deck fascia and posts. We’ll likely wash these areas today and tomorrow. The crew will be hand cleaning the other areas in advance of painting – metal railings, door frames, and light poles. We’ll then begin painting early next week – thanks! 

Wednesday, August 12th: Greetings! 

Welcome to your project blog for the upcoming painting project at Oak Woode Ponds! 

We’ll be getting started with pressure washing of select substrates- select wood elements, garage doors, entry light poles, entry metal handrails, metal decking substrates at 29 of the units, wood decking substrates, front doors, slider patio doors, and shutters. 

We’ll soon post an anticipated finishing schedule so you can know when to anticipate the crew at your building. 

Once the substrates are dry, the crew will return to begin prepping and painting these surfaces. We’ve posted a route map above, which the crew will follow for pressure washing and painting. You can continue to monitor the project progress here on the blog as we’ll post frequent updates, project photos, and any weather delays should they come up. 

We anticipate to remain onsite for about 2-3 weeks, though the project will have minimal impact on your daily routines. Thanks so much for having us and we’ll see you on Thursday!
