Ashcroft of Minnetonka – Minnetonka

Greetings and welcome to your project blog for the upcoming painting project at Ashcroft of Minnetonka. We are thrilled to be working with and for you this summer.

Monday, June 29th: Hello all – we have completed the painting and will be doing a final walk with the board to mark touch-ups for the crew to complete. It is unlikely we’re going to walk today as the heat is pretty intense.

Please stay cool if you have to be outside today! Here is the heat advisory for the metro area:

WHAT…Dangerously hot conditions with heat index values up to 110 expected. WHERE…Portions of central, east central, south central, southeast, and southwest Minnesota and northwest and west central Wisconsin. WHEN…From 9 AM this morning to midnight CDT tonight. IMPACTS…Heat-related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat and high humidity events. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS… Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

Friday, June 26th: We are onsite today and hard at work to complete your project. We will be onsite this weekend as well. We are hoping not to get any rain in order to keep some good momentum for the painting.

As a reminder, we will be doing a final walkthrough with the board to make any areas of touch-up / cleaning before the project is considered complete. If you come across anything, please let your board representative for the project know!

Wednesday, June 24th: Building 11 was the building we worked on yesterday. Overnight rain should have dried out enough for us to begin again this morning. Here’s a look at the forecast for the rest of the week!

Tuesday, June 23rd: We started off today with sunshine but it looks like we will be getting rain later this afternoon.

It is likely that we will be close to finishing the project by the end of the weekend if we get a good stretch of weather. See a message below from your Project Manager, Dana Clark!

Monday, June 22nd: Hello all – we were onsite on Saturday and are onsite today continuing with the painting. Hope you are having a good start to your week! 

Friday, June 19th: We have intermittent rain today but preparation is still occurring – hoping that we will get a drier Saturday! 

Thursday, June 18th: Hello all – we are onsite today at Ashcroft. We are working on preparation tasks. We hope to get a few days without rain, but we’re just trying to best mind the weather forecast.

Wednesday, June 17th: Hello all – we have completed pressure washing but we are offsite today because of the rain.

Thursday, June 11th: Greetings Residents of Ashcroft of Minnetonka!

Welcome to your project blog for the upcoming project. We are looking forward to refreshing your exteriors!

Please be advised that our crew will begin pressure washing on Monday, June 15th. We kindly request that you please remove personal items away from the exterior of your home for the pressure washing to allow for safe & unobstructed access for washing. Once the washing & painting is complete, you may return the items to their normal place.  Please have your outside water spigot on and available for the crew to utilize.

Once the substrates have had adequate time to dry, the crew will return to begin prepping and finishing of the included surfaces.  We anticipate that prep work will start on the first building on Thursday, June 18th.
