Tuesday, July 30th: Greetings!

We are less than a month away from the Great Minnesota Get- Together and a list of 53 new drink options has been released. We all know that that fair may be know for all of the foodie options, mostly fried and many on a stick of course! Yet, it seems we’re becomming creative with beers, spritzers, seltzers, meads, mimosas, etc etc many of which have clever names- case in point the ‘Berry Manilow’ which is a lightly hoppy beer brewed with homemade lemonade and pureed raspberries from Utepils Brewing. Check it out here!

The crew is cruising on Building #2. They are continuing to prep on the rear elevation, prime that section, and then also apply the top coat to the front where primer has been applied.

We’ll post some photos soon as we receive them from the crew. Thanks!

Friday, July 26th: Hello and TGIF!

With this morning’s rain showers, the crew will have a later start to allow surfaces to dry first. They’ll begin around lunch today. The entire 1st building is primed and they will start on the rear elevation with spraying the top coat.

Building #2 will begin prep and painting on Monday, July 29th- thanks!

Have a great weekend!

Monday, July 22nd: Hello and Happy Monday!

Can you believe we’re only one month out from the ‘Great Minnesota Get-together?!’ That means one month to gear up for consuming ALL of the foods— pronto pups, Martha’s cookies, corn, cheese curds, fried pickles, and the list is endless… there are also some great groups playing at the Grandstand— check it out here

Now in Windward project news, the crew has started pressure washing Buildings #1 and #2 today. We’ll return on Wednesday, 7/24 to begin our prep and painting on Building #1.

Friday, July 19th: Good afternoon and TGIF!

Welcome to your project blog for this year’s painting project at Windward. We are thrilled to be back onsite and are looking forward to sprucing up four more of your buildings this year.

We’ll begin on Monday, 7/22 with Pressure washing the 10732 and 10733 Buildings. For the pressure washing we kindly ask that you remove any personal belongings from the outside of your home/deck to allow the crew unobstructed access while washing and then painting as well. You can return items to your deck once the washing is complete- we’ll post a subsequent notice in advance of the deck staining portion of the project. Thanks!

Once the substrates have had time to dry, the crew will return to begin their prep and painting of the exterior of your building— starting with the 10732 Building.

You can continue to follow the project progress here on the blog as we’ll post frequest updates regarding project progress, information as to when the crew with begin the subsequent buildings, pressure washing of the remaining Buildings, photos, and any weather delays.

Thanks so much! Have a great weekend and we’ll see you on Monday!
