Wednesday, August 14th: Greetings! 

We are back in action at Shady Oak! The crew is prepping and painting on Building F and they anticipate to finish up today with a few of the residence doors remaining. Thanks!

Tuesday, August 13th: Good afternoon! 

The crew has paused their prep and painting for today with this morning’s rain— we didn’t expect it to rain! 

The crew will return tomorrow to wrap up on Building #5.

Friday, August 9th: Hello and TGIF! 

The crew is continuing to prep and paint on the final buildings and they are projecting to be done next week Tuesday. Thanks and have a great weekend!

Thursday, August 8th: Greetings! 

We are back in action and prepping and painting on the 6th and final building for this summer’s project at Shady Oak! The finish line is in sight and it has been our pleasure sprucing up your buildings.

Monday, August 5th: Good afternoon! 

We hope you all had a great weekend! The crew has pressed pause on prep and painting for today with the impending rain. We appreciate your patience and we’ll be back onsite tomorrow! The crew is nearing the end of your painting project and we wanted to take a moment to say thank you for having us. It has been our pleasure painting in your neighborhood!


Thursday, August 1st: Greetings! 

We can hardly believe it’s already August! And we all know what the month of August brings… the Great Minnesota Get-Together!! We are into State Fair month and the gates open in just a short 21 days!

The Countdown is on!

The crew has moved onto Building F and is starting their prep work — lots of covering of windows, doors, areas we are not painting. Then we’ll move onto painting – thanks!

Tuesday, July 30th: Greetings! 

We are less than a month away from the Great Minnesota Get- Together and a list of 53 new drink options has been released. We all know that that fair may be know for all of the foodie options, mostly fried and many on a stick of course! Yet, it seems we’re becomming creative with beers, spritzers, seltzers, meads, mimosas, etc etc many of which have clever names- case in point the ‘Berry Manilow’ which is a lightly hoppy beer brewed with homemade lemonade and pureed raspberries from Utepils Brewing. Check it out here!

It’s another beautiful day and the crew is prepping and painting on Building D and will soon move onto Building E.

We hope you all had a great weekend! The crew is pressure washing the remaining 2 Buildings (E & F) and will continue to prep and paint on Building D.

Friday, July 26th: Hello and TGIF! 

We’ve made it to the weekend and the Minneapolis Aquatennial celebration continues tonight and tomorrow- daytime activies include the Loring Park Art Festival, prep-firework celebrations, and the famed Target Fireworks on Saturday night!

The crew is continuing to prep and paint on Building D today.

Tuesday, July 23rd: Good morning residents of Shady Oak!

The Minneapolis Aquatennial is kicking off this week with many events taking place downtown and throughout the city starting on Wednesday, 7/24 and going through Saturday, 7/27. Some of the festivities include the Parade, Torchlight 5K, Trivia, Water Ski Show on the Mississippi, Loring Park Art Festival, and the Target Fireworks on Saturday! 

The crew is contiuing on with their prep and painting of Building C.

Monday, July 22nd: Hello and Happy Monday! 

Can you believe we’re only one month out from the ‘Great Minnesota Get-together?!’ That means one month to gear up for consuming ALL of the foods— pronto pups, Martha’s cookies, corn, cheese curds, fried pickles, and the list is endless… there are also some great groups playing at the Grandstand— check it out here

Thursday, July 18th: Greetings and Happy Hump Day!

As the 2019 Emmy Award nominees were recently announced, let’s throw it back to 2000 and a few of that’s year’s winners for #ThrowbackThursday:  Comedy Series- Will & Grace, Outstanding Drama Series – West Wing, Best Actor for Comedy Serious- Michael J Fox in Spin City, and Best Actress for Comedy Seriues- Patricia Heaton in Everybody Loves Raymond. Here’s the link for this year’s nominees. The Awards will be on September 22nd!

The crew has completed their pressure washing of Buildings C & D and only a few areas remain on Building A. They’ll begin their prep and painting tomorrow on Building C – they anticipated the rain and had an inteiror project queued up. Thanks and we’ll see you tomorrow!


Tuesday, July 16th: Greetings!

The crew is back in action after yet another July storm! 

They are prepping and painting on Building A and also pressure washing Building C- which will begin prep and paint on Thursday, 7/18. Tomorrow we’ll pressure washing Building D and then begin the prep and paint of that Building on Friday, 7/19.

Monday, July 15th: Good afternoon!

It’s going to be a scorcher this week so take care of yourself and stay hydrated! And often with hot weather comes thunderstorms so check back here on the blog for weather updates and delays on your project!

The crew will be pressure washing Building C tomorrow and then beginning to prep and paint that Building on Thursday, 7/18. 

We’ll post a few photos as we receive them from the crews!

Our carpentry crew is wrapping up today and we’ll begin painting on Buildings A and B today and tomorrow. Thanks!

The carpenters are completing the remaining areas of the Shady Oak association and will be done with the carpentry portion by the end of the day today.

The carpentry crew is back onsite and continuing to complete their carpentry. We are anticipating they have about 1-2 days left. Have a great weekend!

The storm is a brewing and the crew will resume their prep and carpentry as the weather allows – thanks! 


Wednesday, June 26th: Good afternoon! 

The carpentry crew is off and running completing the designated carpentry throughout the six included buildings. We’ve also posted a route map above; this will designate the order of buildings completed- A through F. Stay tuned for further updates on the carpentry and then painting as we near that portion of the project. Thanks!

Tuesday, June 25th: Hello and welcome to your project blog! 

The carpenters have started their portion of the project today at your association. They’ll be completing work throughout the association on areas specified from carpentry assessment. They’re anticipating to get through the carpentry by Saturday, 6/29. Thanks!


Monday, June 24th: Greetings!

 We’ll be getting started on your project starting Tuesday, June 25th. First, we’ll complete the carpentry repairs throughout the 6 included buildings, then we’ll begin the painting portion of the project. 

You can continue to follow the project progress here on the blog. Once we near closer to starting the painting portion, we’ll post a route map, an anticipated finishing schedule, daily updates, as well as any weather delays should they come up. Thanks so much and we’re looking forward to being onsite with you!


Wednesday, June 19th: Good afternoon and welcome to your project blog!

For this year’s project, we’ll be prepping and painting select areas of Buildings 1-6, including siding, soffits, fascia, wood windows, front doors/frames, garage service doors/frames, garage doors/frames, patio doors/frames, privacy walls, and trash enclosures.

In advance of the painting, we will complete misc. carpentry repairs recommended by our carpentry estimator and then approved and set by your association. There are a range of repairs being done across the 6 buildings
