The crew is onsite and resuming their painting on the decking areas — starting at Building 1 and 2.

Unfortunately we have yet another morning rain session that is keeping the crews offsite again today. They will return tomorrow to start painting.

The crew is getting started this morning at Buildings 4 and 5 for staining. They are planning to be onsite tomorrow and then will return on Monday, 7/6 if they don’t finish the staining tomorrow.

There is a rain delay today due to all of the overnight and morning rain. The crew will return as surfaces dry out. We will keep you posted!
Friday, June 26th: Greetings and happy Friday ya’ll!
The crew has completed the pressure washing. We are waiting to confirm if we are going to be chemically stripping the decks before applying the stain or proceeding with the staining as is. Thanks!

We are off and running at Winchester! The crew is starting today with pressure washing your decks. They will be starting at Building 1 and following the map shown above.
Monday, June 22nd: Good afternoon!
Welcome to your project blog for the upcoming deck staining and painting project at Winchester in Blaine.
We’ll be getting started with pressure washing of the decks and entry stairs/landings on Wednesday, June 24th. We kindly request that you please remove all personal items from your deck for the pressure washing and staining to allow for safe and unobstructed access.
Once the substrates have had time to dry, the crew will return to begin staining the deck floors and we are projecting this to be on Monday, June 29th. Please note that the weather will impact our finishing schedule.
You can check project progress, weather delays, and schedule changes here on the blog as we’ll update it frequently.
Our plan is to complete all of the deck staining the week of 6/29 before the holiday weekend so you may return items to your deck and enjoy your patios!
We will then coming to paint the deck skirts, posts, and other areas after the deck floors are completed.
We understand having items off of your decks for some time is inconvenient and we will do our best to complete the project promptly so you may return your items to your deck.
