PROJECT COMPLETE

Greetings and welcome to your project blog for the upcoming painting project at Summit Bluffs in St. Paul. We are thrilled to be working with you this summer!

Thursday, October 26th: Good afternoon!

We wanted to share our last post and thank everyone for their patience as we worked through a few road-blockers… literally to get the side of the 378 Building going down W Irvine.

We hope you are happy with the painting refresh and that you had a good experience working with our company!

have a great rest of the year!

Friday, October 13th: Good afternoon!

Who else is ready for the rain to stop?!

We have secured an alternate lift to paint the SW corner of the 328 Building. We have also been approved to close W Irvine for that day to allow our lift to work continuously without the interruption of cars trying to pass. You will still be able to access your driveway to the common area parking and those spots on the 376 Building. It will depend how much space the lift will require if the driveways at the front of the 378 Building will be accessible.

Thank you all for your patience as it took some time for the approval process and to secure all the necessary components. Looking forward to getting everything wrapped up!

Tuesday, October 3rd: Good morning!

We have carpenters onsite to complete the repairs / replacement of those shakes in need. We are also working with the city of St. Paul to get W Irvine Ave closed for a day to paint the SW corner of the 378 Building.

Once we have a date from the city, we’ll be sure to post notices so you are aware of the closure. Thank you!

Tuesday, September 26th: Good afternoon!

The rain has kept the crew away from prep / painting this week and we hope tomorrow surfaces will be dried out for us to return to painting. The crew is anticipating painting through the end of the week. We’ll then have a carpentry crew onsite to repair/replace areas on the shake siding before we get a walk through scheduled and completed to call everything all complete.

Thank you again for having us and we’re looking forward to finishing up in the next few days and working towards getting everything closed out.

Monday, September 25th:  Greetings!

Due to the rain today the crew didn’t make it. Tomorrow we will be checking the dampness level of the included substrates before we return to paint.

Thanks everyone stay dry!

Tuesday, September 19th: Greetings!

The crew is continuing to prep – cover windows, brick, skylights, etc in anticipation of starting to paint.

Looking forward to a productive week of warmer weather & painting!

Lifts up!

Monday, September 18th: Good afternoon!

We hope you all had a great weekend!

The crew is off and running… along with our lift onsite! We will be working simultaneously on both buildings – prep tasks and painting tasks. We will be utilizing the lift to reach the upper most areas as well. Please be mindful of driving and walking in the courtyard areas behind the two buildings.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation!

Tuesday, September 12th: Good morning!

The crew completed their pressure washing of the two building yesterday. Thank you to everyone for being safe and mindful of the lift in use in your community. We appreciate it!

Going all the way up!

Pressure washing in preparation for painting next week.

And we’re off!!

We are tentative to complete some shake repair/replacement and the painting crew will return on Monday 9/18 to begin prep / painting.

Thank you!

Thursday, August 31st: Greetings Residents of Summit Bluffs!

Welcome to your project blog for the upcoming exterior painting project. We are excited to be working together this year!

Our crew will be pressure washing, and prepping & painting select exterior surfaces of the two buildings for the scope of this project – 378 & 376.

The pressure washing will begin on Monday, 9/11 and we will wash both buildings. Once the substrates have had adequate time to dry, the crew will return to begin prepping & painting process on the first building -378. We are projecting that prep & painting will begin on Monday, 9/18. We are projecting that each building will take approximately 7-10 days to complete. Please be mindful that weather may alter this finishing schedule.

We understand this project will have an impact to your daily routine so we will do our best to complete the project promptly to be sure everyone can return to their daily routine as soon as possible. The best way to obtain a project status update will be posted here as we will share progress throughout, photos, and any weather delays.

Please reach out to the contacts below if you have any questions.

We are looking forward to getting started next week!
