Project Completed Pending Touch Ups
Greetings and welcome to your project blog for the upcoming painting project. We are thrilled to be onsite this summer!
Friday, July 29th: Happy Friday!
The crew will be wrapping up with the west side decking by the end of the day today. Tomorrow they will return to begin on the east side decking. Have a great weekend!
Thursday, July 28th: We remain cautiously optimistic that the west side decking can be completed by the end of the day on Saturday, but rain and complications with the lift have made that less of a slam dunk. In correspondence with the rental equipment company, it sounds like the plan is to have a new lift deployed onsite by early next week. We did receive this encouraging note from Sunbelt Rentals, “Hey Jason, I wanted to reach out and apologize for the delays that you have experienced due to issues with the equipment. Sunbelt takes service very seriously, and I hope our service techs are taking care of these issues in a timely manner.”
Suffice it to say, project work is rarely without snags and we are grateful for the grace and patience that has been extended to us as we’ve been onsite for your project.
Look for things to be nearing completion on the West End by Saturday, with the team shifting to the East End early next, provided we have a fully functioning lift!
Wednesday, July 27th: Good morning!
The crew is back onsite after yesterday’s rain delay. They are working on the west side of the building prepping the decks.
Tuesday, July 26th: Greetings!
Unfortunately the crew will not be able to make it onsite today due to the weather. Please look out for further updates and we plan on being back out there as soon as we can!
Monday, July 25th: Good afternoon!
Wednesday, July 20th: Good morning!
Monday, July 18th: Greetings!
The crew is continuing to work diligently on your project. They have made it to stack 5 and will be painting there today.
Thursday, July 14th: Good afternoon!
The crew is onsite and they are continuing to paint away. They are using the lift to paint the decks on the higher levels.
Wednesday, July 13th: Good morning!
Monday, July 11th: Greetings!
We hope everyone had a nice and relaxing weekend. The crew is continuing to work diligently on your project as they are picking up where they left off last week with painting the 1st level decking.
Friday, July 8th: Good morning!
After working on spot priming the areas as needed yesterday, the crew has started painting the 1st level decking today.
Thursday, July 7th: Greetings!
The crew has completed cleaning and sanding the 1st level decking. The 2nd level is in progress and the crew is focusing on areas that do not require a lift. We anticipate having the lift onsite next week, and we plan follow the same route.
We have begun spot priming areas as needed on the 1st level decking that have already been prepped. As you can see in the photos, there are some areas with noticeable rust. No need to worry though, we are using a rust inhibiting primer that will inhibit the spread of rust and will allow the paint to bond to the surface creating durability and longevity! Continue to check in on the blog for more updates along the way!
Wednesday, July 6th: Good morning!
The crew is continuing to work on prepping the decks and will be wrapping up with that this afternoon. Then they will begin priming the included surfaces.
Tuesday, July 5th: Good afternoon!
The crew is onsite and your project is officially underway! They have hand cleaned the included decking areas and are now moving on to begin the prep work.
Wednesday, June 29th: Greetings Residents of Riverfront Flats!
Welcome to your project blog for the upcoming painting project. We are looking forward to refreshing your exterior!
Our crew is scheduled to begin your project on Tuesday, July 5th. We will start with hand cleaning the included decking areas – balcony and ground level metal decking surfaces and then begin prep tasks and painting. We kindly request that each homeowner remove all small personal belongings from your patios and balconies to allow for safe & unobstructed access for the washing and project duration. We would also ask that any large deck furniture/items be moved away from the included metal surfaces we are finishing.
We understand that this project will have an impact to your daily routine & we will do our best to complete the project promptly so everyone may enjoy the remainder of the summer.
The best way to obtain a project status update and any impact it may have on your daily routine will be posted here as we will share progress throughout, photos, and any weather delays.
Please reach out to the contacts below if you have any questions!
We are looking forward to getting started next week!
