Oak Grove Terrace – Bloomington

Project complete; walk through pending

Greetings and welcome to the official blog for the painting project at Oak Grove Terrace in Bloomington. We’re thrilled to be back onsite with you!

Wednesday, September 21st: Hello residents of Oak Grove Terrace in Bloomington. Our project is complete and pending a walk through. Thank you so much for your cooperation and participation, at times, to get the project completed.

Friday, September 16th: Happy Friday folks! Painting continues and should be wrapping up early next week. We’ll then complete a walk thorugh and touchups throughout the property. Thanks so much for having us. It’s been a pleasure working with and for you!

Wednesday, September 14th: Greetings Oak Grove! Apologies for the later post, we’ve had some technical difficulties with the blog. Regardless our crew is working hard to finish the remaining buildings. They’re working in 1001 and 1003 today.

Monday, September 12th: Good morning residents of Oak Grove Terrace. We hope you all had a great weekend and enjoyed the sunnier and cooler weather! Our crew is working on Buildings 10500, 10502, and 10504.

Thorough tape-work in progress.

Thursday, September 8th: It’s Thursday, the sun is shining, and our crew is back at it! Painting continues and things are looking great at Oak Grove Terrace!

Wednesday, September 7th: Rain Delay

Tuesday, September 6th: Rain Delay

Thursday, September 1st: And just like that it’s September…here’s to kick off for regular season football, all things pumpkin spice, the start of school, and cooler temps! The crew at Oak Grove Terrace is moving along in the last 2 buildings on the South end of propery. They’ll be working on Buildings 10537, 10539, and 10541 today.

Blue skies all around for the perfect backdrop to our fresh stain and paint.

Tuesday, August 30th: We hope your week is off to a great start. Our crew is keeping pretty close to schedule, albeit some weather delays. We have about 3 weeks left and we’re continuing to work on the final 2 buildings at the South end of property. See our video for today’s full update!

Friday, August 26th: Happy Friday residents of Oak Grove Terrace. We hope you all had a good week. Things are moving along here @ Oak Grove with pressure washing of the 1001 West 105th St Building, 10500 W Bloomington Fwy Building, and the 10531 Dupont Rd S Building today. The crew is also working on staining units 10511-10513 today and will move to painting next.

If anyone is a foodie or a Fair fan, Andrew Zimmern has put together a list of his favs. He also commented he likes to attend the Fair all 12 days!

We prep and then we stain.

Wednesday, August 24th: The rain has slowed us down a bit since it makes things difficult to stain and paint when surfaces are wet. So as soon as it dries up a bit, we’ll be back at it and prep and painting will get going for Building 10501.

Pressure washing will take place on Friday 8/26 for 10531-10545 Dupont Rd S, 10500-10514 W Bloomington Fwy, and 1001-1011 West 105th St. We’ll be posting blue notices today or tomorrow, so look for those on your garage door frames.

On a side note, the Minnesota Fair starts tomorrow! We’ve been dreaming of those cheese curds and Pronto Pups all year. Can you smell the fried goodness…linked for your mouth-watering pleasure is the list of new foods this year. Happy browsing!

Monday, August 22nd: Good afternoon residents of Oak Grove Terrace. We hope you all had a great weekend. We are continuing to cover ground on your courtyard privacy fencing, 2nd story deck railings and privacy walls for Buildings 10481-10487.

Precise painting on the courtyard privacy walls over here @ Oak Grove Terrace.

Tuesday, August, 16th: The week is off to a great start at Oak Grove Terrace! We have crews working on the rear decks of Building 10460 today and then we’ll be moving on to Buildings 10481-10491 for the remaining of the week.

Francisco and Mauricio pause for a quick smile, then back to work on the rear decks @ Oak Grove Terrace.

If that look doesn’t scream “Bring It”…Victor is ready for all that Tuesday has in store.

Friday, August 12th: As the week is coming to a close, we’ve completed pressure washing on the two Dupont Buildings mentioned below and are continuing to complete staining and painting on the rear elevation of the 10461 Dupont building. Along with our crew and ‘Loverboy’ we hope everyone is Working For The Weekend – you’ve earned it! We’ll see you folks on Monday!

Here’s the latest at Oak Grove Terrace…disregard the audio glitch…still getting used to the GoPro.

Wednesday, August 10th: With rain looming in the forecast, we’ve decided to push ahead with pressure washing for the 10481 Dupont building and the 10501 Dupont Rd South building tomorrow, Thursday August 11th. This will keep our crews working and allow us to not lose time due to weather.

You may have noticed blue signs taped to those garage frames of the Dupont buildings notifying you of this pressure washing. We want to reiterate how much we appreciate your cooperation in getting items away from these areas: privacy fences, decking areas, and entry stoops where applicable.

Again, thank you so much for your cooperation as we push forward!

Tuesday, August 9th: Hello there everyone of Oak Grove Terrace. We hope you all had a great weekend; maybe you caught the Opening Ceremony of the Rio 216 Olympics- such a spectacular show! We’re continuing to make our way down from the North end of the association and we are currently on building 10475.

Francisco is meticulously painting your 2nd story deck railings and privacy dividers.

Tuesday, July 26th: Hello again residents of Oak Grove. We hope your week is off to a great start! Things are moving along nicely and the fellas have completed the privacy fence staining on the first two buildings at the top of the association. As of end of day on Tuesday, they are working on your private deck railings/divider walls and those areas should be completed by the end of the week.

The second set of 2 buildings are scheduled to be pressure washed this coming Friday, so keep your eyes peeled for the notices that we will be posting on your garage door frames tomorrow.

Francisco applies Cedar Tone stain to one of the fences @ Oak Grove.

Wednesday, July 20th: Good morning Oak Grove Terrace. Perhaps you’ve found your way to our humble little blog by way of blue notices posted on your garage door frames. If that is the case, welcome!

As you may recall, we had the privilege of painting all the new siding on your garages last year and as a result, we’ve been asked back onsite to complete some additional areas this year. It’s always nice to get invited back!

This year’s project consists of painting your courtyard privacy walls, your entry stoops (where applicable), and lastly, your second story private decks including your railings and privacy walls.

For all newly installed privacy fencing, those will be stained natural cedar. For all other colors, we will be matching the color scheme.

The project got underway on Monday on the North end of the association where the crew began pressure washing the included areas.

We will be pressure washing your buildings in phases (typically 2-3 buildings at a time) and we will post notices on your garage door frames at least 48 hours in advance of pressure washing. The painting/staining will be following the same route as the pressure washing and we will do our best to provide you with updates 1-2 times per week as the project progresses.  We anticipate the project will take approximately 6-8 weeks to complete.

Thanks everybody. Looking forward to working with you again this year.
