Update — the crew has washed the north elevation only and will return tomorrow when the lift arrives to resume pressure washing.

The crew is onsite and is starting pressure washing the exterior surfaces — beginning in the NE corner and working counter clockwise. It will take a few days to complete the washing and dry the surfaces. The crew will then return to begin on repairs/replacements and also prep/painting later this week as early as Friday.

And we’re off!

Thursday, September 2nd: Good morning!

Welcome to your project blog for the upcoming carpentry and painting project.

This year’s project includes the removal and replacement of select Hardie siding/trim and these areas have been pre determined for replacement. We’ll also be prepping and finishing most exterior surfaces on the condo building including the lap siding, shake siding, EIFS panels, contrast fascia, window trim, service doors/frames, underground garage door/frame, previously painted deck skirts, residence deck door frames, and decorative corbels.

We will begin with pressure washing the included surfaces on Tuesday, September 7th. We kindly request that homeowners close their windows & remove all personal items off their deck for the pressure washing to allow for safe & unobstructed access for washing. Once the washing is complete, you may return items to your deck as we are not completing deck floors.

Once the substrates have had time to dry, the crew will return to begin completing carpentry and painting on Friday, September 10th. The crew will begin in the NE corner of the building and work counter clockwise around the building.

We are projecting that the project will take approximately 4-6 weeks complete the entire building.

The best way to obtain a project status update and any impact it may have on your daily routine will be posted here as we’ll share progress throughout, photos, and any weather delays.

Please reach out to the contacts below if you have any questions.

We’re looking forward to getting started this week!
