Greetings and welcome to your project blog for the deck staining project at Centennial Green in Circle Pines. We are looking forward to being onsite!

Route Map @ Centennial Green

Tuesday, October 23rd: Greetings!

The crew is continuing to make their way around the route and staining your decks. The end is in sight; they are anticipating to wrap up tomorrow!

Monday, October 22nd: Hello and good afternoon!

We hope you all had a great weekend- it sure was a beauty!

The crew is back onsite and staining your porches. With a longer stretch of dry weather, the decks are ready for application. We’re hoping to keep it going through the week!

Nestor paints one of the entry decks.

Friday, October 19th: Hello and TGIF!

Unfortunately as much as we want to close out your project, the weather is dictating our progress. The overnight rain has put a stop on our staining and we need the surface to be dry and with the cooler weather it doesn’t dry out as fast. What this means… we’ll wait a few more days and resume as the surfaces are dried completely.

Thanks again for your patience! Have a great weekend!

Thursday, October 18th: Good afternoon!

We are back in business and staining your decks and we couldn’t have picked a better day!

Tuesday, October 16th: Hello and good afternoon residents of Centennial Lakes.

After a chilly and shockingly snowy wake up call on Sunday, we are thrilled to see the sun today and resume our ‘fall’ programming!

We’ve pushed back our date to resume your project. We’re working on getting the color matches all dialed in and set in stone before we complete the remainder of your project. We appreciate your patience in advance, thank you!

Friday, October 12th: TGIF!

We couldn’t be happier to see these clear skies and even a glimpse at the sun!

Since we’re applying stain, we want the surfaces to be completely dried out. With the weather staying dry through the weekend and into next week, we anticipate to return on Tuesday, 10/16.

Thanks so much for your patience as Mother Nature decided to put a stop on our progress over the last week. With what looks like clear weather for the next week, our crews are eager to get your project back on track once the substrates dry out. Thanks!

Thursday, October 11th: Good morning!

Is it true?! There is no rain in sight for the next several days!

Though it isn’t raining today, it’s a bit too wet to be applying paint and stain. We’ll resume, hopefully tomorrow to get back on track!

Wednesday, October 10th: Here we are again, deja vu with another rainy day. I suppose we can chalk this one up to Milli Vanilli and their hit ‘Blame it on the Rain.‘ We’re hopeful to resume prep and painting tomorrow. Thanks!

Monday, October 8th: Good morning! We hope you all had a great weekend!

All of this rain has halted our crew at Centennail Green. They’ll resume once the weather allows. Thanks!

Wednesday, October 3rd: Good afternoon!

We have the crew slated to resume their painting at Centennial Green on Saturday as the crew is trying to wrap up a few previous projects that were postponed due to the rain as well. Thanks for your patience!

Tuesday, October 2nd: Rain Delay

Monday, October 1st: Hello and just like that it’s October! There sure is a crispness to the air and we like it! ‘Tis the season for apple orchards, all things pumpkin, Halloween costumes, and Hocus Pocus. Happy Fall ya’ll!

The rain has halted the crew for today and they’ll resume their staining as the weather allows. Thanks!

Friday, September 28th: Hello and TGIF!

We had ourselves some Friday fun at the Roell Painting Office this afternoon – Painter Appreciation BBQ, complete with a Dunk Tank!

NOT A GOOD DAY TO BE THE BOSS : )

Check out our Facebook Link for more of the action.

The crew is working on Buildings 16, 17, and 18 today. They’ll move onto 19 on Monday. Thanks and have a great weekend!

Thursday, September 27th: Good afternoon residents of Centennial Green.

The crew has resumed their prep and staining of your entry decking. They’ve made it to Building #12 as listed in the map above. We anticipate 2-3 more days, weather permitting. Thanks!

Nestor preps and puts down a drop cloth to prevent drips.

Tuesday, September 25th: Rain Delay. The crews will resume their prep and painting as the weather allows, likely tomorrow 9/26. Thanks!

Though this weather has stopped our crew, you can carry on and celebrate today as ‘One Hit Wonder Day‘ and take a walk down memory lane to relive briefly successful songs through the decades. Some of our favs are, Video Killed the Radio Star by The Buggles, Tubthumping by Chumbawamba, or fitting for today, Milli Vanilli’s Blame in on the Rain?!

Monday, September 24th: And they’re off!

The crew has started your project at Centennial Green! They’re beginning with prep work and staining at the beginning of the route, shown above. We’ll be posting the crews progress each day so you can know when to anticipate us at your deck. We’ll be posting some pictures soon too- once we get them from the crew!

Thursday, September 20th: Good morning!

Our crew have yet another rain day today. With rain forecasted for the majority of day, we’ll likely push back our start date as we want the surfaces to be completely dry and this does take more time with wood surfaces. Thanks!

Tuesday, September 18th: Good afternoon!

With the continued rain in the forecast today, tomorrow and potentially Thursday we won’t be starting your project until early to mid-week next week. When staining deck components, we want to make sure the surfaces have dried completely.

Thanks so much in advance for your patience and we’ll update the blog with any schedule changes or updates as they come up. Thank you!

Thursday, September 13th: Hello!

It’s a big weekend ahead for the Purple People Eaters — the Border Battle vs. Green Bay is on Sunday! The guys in purple are headed to Lambeau to take on the cheese heads of WI.

The crew is continuing to pressure wash along the route. They’ll likely wrap up today, but  might have some to finish tomorrow. We’ll then begin prep and painting next Wednesday. Thanks!

Full gear for pressure washing!

Wednesday, September 12th:

Welcome Video

Welcome to your project! The crew has started to pressure wash your entry decking. They’ll take a few days to make their way through all of the buildings. Once washed, we’ll be back once the deck substrates have had time to dry out. We anticipate this to be a week from today, Wednesday, 9/19, but could be sooner will continued warm and dry weather. Stay tuned here on the blog for further updates to the schedule and project progress as we get underway. Thanks!

Hermes sprays the decks with a cleaning solution.

Wednesday, September 5th: Greetings residents of Centennial Green and welcome to your project blog for the upcoming entry deck staining project. We’ll be pressure washing and staining your entry decking- deck floor, skirt, railings, and stairs.

This summer we’ll be staining 57 of your resident entry decks and our project will begin on Wednesday, 9/12 with pressure washing the included decks – this will take a few days to complete. Then once the decks have dried out thoroughly, we’ll return onsite to begin staining.

For the pressure washing, we kindly ask that you remove all belongings and furniture from your decks. Once the washing is complete you may return your furniture as it will be a bit of time before the decks are dry and we return to begin staining.

We anticipate the staining of select decks to begin on Wednesday, 9/19. We’ll post a route map and an anticipated finishing shedule as we near closer to your project start. Stay tuned here on the blog for project updates, progress photos, and any changes to the schedule.

Thanks so much in advance for your cooperation in moving deck furniture. And we’ll see you next week!
