Project Complete: Walk Through & Touch Ups Remain

Greetings and welcome to your project blog! We are thrilled to be working with you this year.

Wednesday, January 25th: Greetings!

The crew finished up the “B” Stairwell yesterday. We are getting a walk through scheduled with a few Board Members for early next week and then the crews will return to take care of any areas needing attention.

Thanks to Amanda, your Board members, Colin and our crew for working so collaboratively to refresh your hallways. Thank you also to the residents for their cooperation and patience while we worked to beautify your space.

Monday, January 23rd: Good afternoon!

We are getting started in Stairwell “B” today. The crew will begin up at the 9th floor and paint their way down to the ground level. We are anticipating to be painting through Wednesday or Thursday this week. We are also continuing to paint the accent wall in the elevator lobbies and should be complete in the next day or so.

Stairway “B” prep is underway.

Thursday, January 19th: Greetings residents of Zenith!

We are complete in your resident hallways aside from doing a walk through to make areas for touch ups and then the crew will return to complete these areas.

We have a crew in Stairwell A that will be wrapping up tomorrow. They will then start in Stairwell B on Monday, 1/25.

The lobby wall refresh painting has been approved and we will have the crew get started on those areas tomorrow, 1/20. They’ll start up on the 9th floor and work their way down, first painting the “Gray” accent walls from top to bottom and then the “Red” walls from top to bottom.

Thank you to everyone for their graciousness and patience as we completed the painting on each floor.

Tuesday, January 17th: Good afternoon!

We have started our prep and painting in Stairwell A today. We also have a crew finishing up on the 4th and 2nd floors.

The final component of the project will begin to prep and paint the elevator lobby walls (gray and red). We are working on getting a match of the current color and will begin this week to give these walls a 1-coat refresh to match the refresh to the common hallway walls.

Though we are not painting on the other floors, we are not complete. We will be setting up a time to walk through and mark any areas needing touch ups and will get those taken care of before we call everything complete.

Monday, January 16th: Greetings!

What a weekend and what a game … Viking fans are shedding some purple tears after the tough loss to the Giants last night. It will be interesting to see how tonight and next week plays out for Superbowl contenders!

We have both crews working on multiple floors today – 5th, 4th, 3rd, and 2nd and will likely take us into tomorrow to finish those and clean up.

Update* We’ll be starting in Stairwell A tomorrow. Thank you!

Prep happening on the 2nd floor.

The 9th floor is complete and looking ✨

Friday, January 13th: Hello and happy Friday!

The crews are cruising along and are working on both the 7th and 6th floors. We won’t be onsite tomorrow, but will resume on Monday with painting the 5th and 4th floors.

Thank you to everyone for being mindful of the wet paint when traversing the hallways – have a great weekend!

Floors are covered and walls are being cut in.

Thursday, January 12th: Good morning!

And they’re off! We are thrilled to be onsite and getting started on the 9th and 8th floors today. A big thank you to Collin for getting the crew everything that they need and helping facilitate a smooth project start!

Today will consist of prep, covering, taping off baseboards & around any hallway signage. We may get to actually applying paint to the walls as well. We are looking forward to seeing the “new” paint color, Spatial White by Sherwin Williams

We’ll be onsite for 2-3 weeks, but only anticipate to be working on each floor for 1.5 – 2 days.

Monday, January 9th: Good afternoon!

We had a crew onsite today to apply 2 color samples to the 9th floor common hallway. The design committee and board will review the samples and make the color decision prior to our project kick off on Thursday.

We are looking forward to being a part of your building improvement project!

Thumbs up from Hermes.

Friday, January 6th: Greetings Residents of Zenith Condos!

Welcome to your project blog for the upcoming interior painting project. We are thrilled to be working for and with you to kick off the new year!

The painting portion is part of your larger project, including new carpet in the hallways. Our painting scope includes prep and painting of “tan” hallway walls in the common area in the 9th floor through 2nd floor. We will also be prepping and painting stairwell A, including roof access through P2, and stairwell B, including 9th floor through level 1. We will paint 1 stairwell at a time to allow residents access to one stairwell. The common area hallways will be our initial focus and the stairwells will come into play in the middle or towards the end of the project.

This project blog will be used as a communication tool to relay pertinent project information regarding start dates, photos of progress, updates to the finishing schedule, and communicating stairwell start dates.

On Thursday, January 12th we’ll be kicking off the project on the 9th and 8th floors with the common area hallway walls and then work our way down – 7th, 6th, 5th, etc. We will have 2 crews onsite working and anticipate each floor taking about 1-2 days to complete. We are projecting that the completion of the overall project will take approximately 3-3.5 weeks to complete all areas.

We would ask residents to be mindful of wet paint as we are working on your floor, otherwise the disruption will be fairly minor as it is all happening in the common areas.

Please continue to check back here for progress updates, project photos, or to leave a comment/question below. We will use this blog to communicate project notes and updates.

Please reach out to the contacts below if you have any questions. Thank you and we are looking forward to getting started next week!
