Thursday, July 9th: Good afternoon and welcome to your project blog for the upcoming painting project at Garden Path!
For your project we’ll be prepping and painting your siding, foundation block, fascia/trim, chimney stacks, entry trim, rear deck railings, decking , wood windows/trim, front, garage, service, and patio door frames, exterior screen frames, and pergolas… most of your paintable exterior surfaces.
We’ll be getting started on Friday, July 10th with pressure washing of Building #1 and #2. Once the areas have dried completely, we’ll return to begin our prep and painting at Building 1.
We’ll follow the route posted above for the washing as well as the painting. We appreciate your cooperation to move any small items from the exterior of your homes to allow for safe and unobstructed access during the washing and painting.
You can continue to follow the project progress here on the blog as we’ll provide frequent updates, share photos, and alert you of any weather delays… rain unfortunately dictated our summer painting.
Thank you for having us and we’re looking forward to getting started tomorrow!

The painters got paint on my brand new screens, window frame and newly repaired deck. I pointed this out to them, they said they would fix it. It took over a week, they removed the paint on my screen, but there is a stain on my screen now either from the paint or from the chemical used. They did not remove the paint from my window frame or deck.

I’m the Secretary for DPPA. Owners are asking questions and feel it would be best if Roell answer them by posting in blog for all to see.
Question: When will you be doing siding repair?
Question: Why don’t you paint deck floors?

Hi Judy- thanks for reaching out here on the blog. We’ve posted a video update above addressing the start of the repairs. We’re waiting for our sample to arrive and then have it approved by your Board. The deck floors were not included in the scope of work for this year’s project. Please let us know if you have any other questions. Thank you! Dana
