IN PROGRESS – Moving Up Heritage Drive

GREETINGS AND WELCOME TO THE OFFICIAL PROJECT BLOG FOR THE HERITAGE WALK IN LAKEVILLE!

Thursday, May 19th:  Spurned on by the chorus of “Mr. Sun, Sun, Mr. Golden Sun” the Roell Painting White Knights continue to make significant progress at Heritage Walk and if the schedule holds, we’ll be wrapping things up on Friday. Of course, your job supervisor Jesse will be performing a walk-through to make sure everything’s nice and spruced up, and he will be identifying areas designated for touch up with blue tape. So, if you see blue tape, please leave it just as is, as it indicates to the crew where touchups are needed.

FRAMES AND DECK FASCIA ARE PAINTED IN SYNCHRONIZATION IN THE FRONT ELEVATIONS AT HERITAGE WALK.

The fellas have far greater success with the rear deck skirts than did Marilyn Monroe on the set of the Seven Year Itch.

Tuesday, May 17th: It looks like our invocation of Little Orphan Annie has paid dividends and the sun has indeed come out yesterday and today! Perhaps Daddy Warbucks paid off Mother Nature?!

Nevertheless, the guys completed 3 more buildings yesterday and continue to make their way up Heritage Drive.

Special thanks to Lisa and the residents for providing feedback regarding tape balls or what we like to call “Tumbleweeds” in the paint biz! Be assured the message has been imparted to the guys and we will be more mindful of keeping the jobsite clean as a whistle.

Have a great day everybody!

JESUS PREPS A GARAGE DOOR FRAME IN A SEA OF DROP CLOTHS!

Friday, May 13th: With rains halting progress yet again in Lakeville, we have begun to employ new tactics to somehow foster a little bit sunshine. Despite delays, prep has continued throughout the week and the crew has completed the painting on 2 buildings on Holyoke.

After much soulful reflection, we’ve decided to invoke the help of one person that knows a little something about adversity…

Tuesday, May 10th:

Today we are singing in the rain while performing misc. prep steps throughout the association. The rain began to lighten up so we sent the crew to do select prep tasks only; scraping, caulking and taping only.

Monday, May 9th:

Well we had the best of intentions this morning with the crew arriving promptly at 8 am and began working through some of our prep tasks.  Sadly we were halted due to rain around 11 am.

Oscar, above, shows off his taping ability!

While not to be outdone, Dave follows behind Oscar with the scraping and priming!

Above you will find a beautifully prepped garage door frame ready for final paint. We are keeping our fingers crossed the tape doesn’t fall off with how heavy the rain has been in this system!

The forecast doesn’t look promising for the next two days so that likely will result in us returning on Thursday to continue working.

Stay tuned right here for updates on your project!

Friday, May 6th: Likely a blue notice taped to your garage door frame brought you to our little website.    This is a vehicle we use to communicate our progress and any delays to the residents of your association.

The tentative plan will be to have the work begin on Monday, May 9th.
