Durham Green: Club West – Blaine

GREETINGS AND WELCOME TO THE OFFICIAL BLOG FOR THE PAINTING PROJECT @ DURHAM GREEN HOA IN CLUB WEST. WE ARE SO EXCITED YOU FOUND US!

PRESSURE WASHING WILL BEGIN ON TUESDAY, AUGUST 16TH FOR BUILDINGS #1 AND #2. WE WILL COMPLETE 2 BUILDINGS PER DAY AND WILL CONTINUE THROUGH MONDAY, AUGUST 22ND TO FINISH WASHING A TOTAL OF 12 BUILDINGS. THEN PAINTING WILL FOLLOW SUITE, IN THE SAME ORDER AS WASHING.

Tuesday, September 20th: Good afternoon residents of Durham Green. We want to thank all of you that were available last week for front door painting. We appreciate your patience and participation to aid in the process of getting the doors painted. There were a few hiccups and want to apologize for any inconvenience caused from our error. 

If your door still needs a fresh coat of paint, our crew will be onsite Saturday 9/24 from 9am-2pm. We can take appointments on first come, first serve basis if you prefer a specific time. Feel free to call our office or comment below with your address and time you’d like. Thanks so much and have a great day!

Friday, September 16th: Door painting is underway. Thank you to those who have signed up, it really makes the painting go smoothly and fluidly. We’ll be finishing up today and be out at Durham Green tomorrow for our final day of painting. We’ll then post a final notice stating a day for last call, and if then we can’t paint while you’re home we’ll have to paint your door in the shut position.

Wednesday, September 14th: Good morning Durham Green. Front door painting is up and running for those buildings designated for Wednesday. For the buildings scheduled tomorrow there is still time to email or comment to set a time. There is also some availability left for Friday and Saturday if today and tomorrow do not work. If needed, the schedule is posted below. 

Tuesday, September 13th: Thank you to those that have reached out to sign up for a door painting time. It’s helpful to schedule the doors ahead of time, then there is less time the crew is walking around knocking on doors to see if you’re home. If you haven’t yet, check the tables below for availability and then feel free to comment below or email the experience coordinator with your unit, date, and time that works best: dana@roellpainting.com

OMAR WORKS TO GIVE THE DOOR FRAME A FRESH COAT OF WHITE PAINT.

Monday, September 12th: Blue signs will posted at your homes today detailing the upcoming door painting on Wednesday 9/14 and Thursday 9/15. Our crew will be out knocking on doors these days and if you’re home, kindly open your door so we can get it painted. If you have a specific time you would like your door painted on your specified day, please post a comment on our blog with your name, address, & preferred time on the hour (i.e. John Smith, 10800 Unit A 10am). There will be three available appointments at the top of each hour. We’ll take requests in the order which we receive them and will update the blog/table frequently. 

Once your door has been painted please leave it open for a minimum of 2 hours. This ensures it dries propery. Also, we have ‘make-up days’ on Friday 9/16 and Saturday 9/17 if you are unavailable the other days. This is also on a first come, first serve basis.  Our crew will make several attempts to contact you over the 2 days, but if we cannot reach you, we will be painting the door in a closed position.

Thursday, September 8th: Our crew is power washing the last building today. They’re continuing to paint building #15 and depending on progress will move on to building #16.

Friday, September 2nd: The crew is moving along right on schedule and we’ve completed 14 buildings. They’ll keep at it today and will be back Tuesday after the long weekend.

Tuesday, August 30th: We hope everyone’s week is off to a great start. Things are really cruising along @ Durham Green. The crew has completed 11 buildings and is working on #12 today. They should finish up #12 today and move on to #13 and #14 tomorrow, 8/31. And now we can officially say we’re over half way done! Stay tuned for further updates this week.

Friday, August 26th: Happy Friday residents of Durham Green! We are moving along and have 5 buildings checked of the list. We’re finishing up Buildings #6 and #7 today and will be starting Building #8-#12 today as well. 

We hope you all have a great weekend! The Minnesota Fair started yesterday, so maybe you’ll brave the crowds and grab a bite of your favs or give the ‘newbies’ a try. If you do make your way there today, it’s ‘Unite in Purple’ day- so fans wear your purple! There’s also a DJ celebration at Carousel Park at 8pm.

Wednesday, August 24th: Hello, Durham Green- we have one crew working on Buildings 1-3 and another crew working on buildings 4-6 and they’ll continue working over the next few days. Again, look for blue notices later today for pressure washing. Washing will start with Building #13 tomorrow 8/25. Thanks for your continued cooperation. We really appreciate it!

Tuesday, August 23rd: With surfaces all washed, we’re continuing to prep the last surfaces and are painting on Building #1.

Tomorrow, blue signs are coming your way if you are in Buildings #13-#23. Please refer to the site map above for numbering. We’ll be pressure washing buildings in ascending order starting on Thursday 8/25. The notices will be taped to your garage door frames and will elicit more information regarding washing. We ask that you please close your windows on the day you’re scheduled for washing. We’ll be spraying the vinyl sifing and soffits and plan to be doing a building/day so we’ll be washing thorugh Thursday 9/8. 

All business aside, who’s ready for the State Fair? The Great Minnesota Get-Together start this Thursday! I’ll just leave this righthere…in case you’re contemplating the new foods this year : )

Monday, August 22nd: Morning residents of Durham Green! The cooler temps have cleared out and we’re back to running hot. We’re working on pressure washing the last two buildings #11 and #12 today. We’ll also start to paint on Building #1.

Friday, August 19th: Happy Friday ya’ll! Despite some rain, we’ve stuck to our schedule and will be ready to do for prep and paint to start Monday 8/22. This will follow the same route as pressure washing and will start in the North end of the property. Refer to the finishing schedule above as needed,

Wednesday, August 17th: Good afternoon Durham Green. Just a quick update here: pressure washing is continuing today and through the rest of the week. It was mentioned previously that prep and painting would commence today; however out crew is going to focus solely on the pressure washing and power through that. Tentatively, prep and painting will start Monday 8/22.

Tuesday, August 16th: And they’re off! Our crew has hit the ground running and the painting project @ Durham Green is underway! Please stay tuned for updates as they’ll be post 2-3 times per week. Thanks again for having us! We’re really excited to be onsite.

Friday, August 12th: Perhaps you’ve found your way to our blog by way of the blue notices taped to your garage door frames, Welcome! 

On Tuesday, August 16th buildings #1 & #2 will be pressure washed we will then make our way to subsequent buildings, completing 2 buildings per day. Along with the blue notices taped to the garage fames is a site map designating the Building #s. You can also reference this above.

Once the pressure washing is complete, the crew will begin prepping and painting buildings. This will follow the same order as the pressure washing did. We are projecting to prep and paint on Wednesday, August 17th on select buildings. This schedule is all weather permitting of course. 

When your building is scheduled for pressure washings, we ask that you please close your windows and remove any personal items from the outside of your house. 

We will do our very best to keep you fully apprised of the project and the best way to do that is to follow the project progress right here on the blog. We wil be providing status updates, pictures, and ultimately a chronology of the project. We’ll try to have some fun along the way too, while notifying you of the schedule and when the project will arrive at your specific doorstep.
