Wednesday, July 13th: Good afternoon!

The final walk through has been completed and the touch ups have performed. Which means your project is officially complete! It has been our pleasure being onsite this summer and working for and with you. Thank you again for having us & enjoy the rest of your summer!

Wednesday, July 6th: Good morning!

The crew essentially wrapped things up on Friday, 7/1 and now it’s just a matter of coordinating schedules so your project supervisor, Jesse, can come out and mark areas in need of touch up with blue tape. We kindly ask that after the blue tape pieces are put up that residents leave them where they are as they direct the team members to fix accordingly.

The crew is onsite and continuing to work diligently on your project. Today they are working on painting the garage doors.

Today the crew was working on the prep and painting of the high elevation on Building 3.

Friday, June 17th: Good morning!

The rain is finally gone! The crew is onsite today and they are working on the prep and painting of the high elevation on Building 2.

Wednesday, June 15th: Greetings!

The crew will be returning tomorrow to begin the prep and painting work for Building 6. Thank you for your patience as we are having to change the schedule due to the weather.

Monday, June 13th: Good morning!

The crew will not be onsite today due to the rain. They will return to continue prepping and painting once the substrates have had time to fully dry again.

Friday, June 10th: Good afternoon!

The crew is continuing their diligent work on Building 8 today. They have also started working on Building 7. On Monday, June 13th the crew will begin the prep work for Building 6. Have a great weekend!

The crew is continuing to work their way around the route. This morning they were picking up where they left off on yesterday with Building 9. After lunch, they will return to begin prepping and painting Building 8.

The crew is continuing to work on Building 12. Later today they will begin the prep and painting on Building 11.

Tuesday, May 31st: Greetings!

We hope everyone had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend. The crew is back onsite and they are currently working on scraping and priming at Buildings 11 and 12. Tomorrow the crew will begin painting at these two buildings. The pressure washing of all 12 buildings has been completed.

Friday, May 27th: Happy Friday!

The crew is continuing to work their way along the route to pressure wash all of the buildings. They are also continuing to work on the prep work for Building 12. The crew will return on Tuesday, May 31st. Have a great Memorial Day weekend!

Thursday, May 26th: Good Morning!

The crew is back onsite after yesterday’s rain delay. They are continuing along the posted washing schedule with pressure washing Building 7 and 8 today. They have also begun the prep and painting work on Building 12.

Wednesday, May 25th: Good Afternoon!

Unfortunately because of the rain the washing schedule is going to be pushed back a little bit. The crew will still start painting at Building 12 tomorrow with the garage doors and frames but the decks will need more time to dry.

Tuesday, May 24th: Greetings!

The crew is pressure washing Building 10 today and is also planning to pressure wash Building 9. After our first day yesterday, the crew is projecting that they will be able to pressure wash two buildings per day. Please continue to check back frequently as this may be subject to change. 

Weather permitting, the crew will begin the painting process on Thursday, 5/26 at Building 12. As well as performing miscellaneous carpentry repairs starting Thursday, 5/26. 

Monday, May 23rd: Good morning!

Today is the day! We are off and running at The Lakes Citihomes. The crew is pressure washing Building 12 today. They will work their way around the route posted above to continue pressure washing throughout the week.

Tuesday, May 17th: Greetings!

If you see this friendly face onsite today it is our senior estimator, Trent! He is doing an assessment of the garage door weather stripping. Once the pressure washing begins next week we will continue to update the washing schedule as well as post a painting schedule. 

 

Monday, May 16th: Good Morning!

The crew will not begin pressure washing today as we have a COVID-19 delay and are taking the necessary safety precautions. We are working on allocating resources to get a new crew on the job as soon as possible. The new crew will hopefully begin pressure washing Building 12 on Monday, May 23rd.  We will continue to update the blog and schedule with the new timelines. Thank you for your patience and understanding!

Tuesday, May 10th: Greetings Residents of Lakes Citihomes!

Welcome to your project blog for the upcoming painting project. We are looking forward to refreshing your decks & garage doors!

We are starting with pressure washing the included decks on Buildings #1 – #12. For this year’s project, we’ll be prepping, painting, and staining your rear decks including pillars, headers, railings, skirts, floors, and undersides steps as well as garage doors.

The decks facing the railroad tracks on Buildings 1-5 do NOT need to clear off their decks as those were already completed last year with the exception of the rooftop decks & cantilevered decks. The rooftop & cantilevered decks on Buildings 1-12 will be included in this years scope of work.

We kindly request that homeowners remove personal items off their deck to allow for safe & unobstructed access for washing.

Once the substrates have had time to dry, the crew will return to begin preparation & painting. We will be phasing out the buildings starting with Building 12 and working our way down by building. We are projecting the painting work on building 12 to begin as soon as Friday, May 20th. 

The best way to obtain a project status update and any impact it may have on your daily routine will be posted here as we’ll share progress throughout, photos, and any weather delays.
