Woodlake Centre- Richfield

Woodlake Centre- Richfield

Project Complete

Greetings and welcome to the official blog for the painting project at Woodlake Centre! We are excited to be onsite with you!

Thursday, March 30th: And just like that we’re closing out March and moving into April. I’m sure we can all get on board for warmer weather, Spring, and then Summer!

The crew finished up at Woodlake Centre yesterday with painting the railings. They’ll be back in the near future to complete any remaining areas that need to be touched up.

We wanted to extend a huge thank you to the building managers for facilitating this spring’s project and also to the tenants and businesses for allowing up to occupy your space and spruce up the 3rd and 2nd floor walls and rotunda railings. It has been our pleasure working with and for you!

Have a great rest of the year!

Update: The railings are needing a bit more paint than anticipated to cover fully and we’ve ordered more. The crew will be back tomorrow to wrap up the railings and head out by noon. Thanks!

Tuesday, March 28th: Good morning Woodlake Centre, we have some great news: it’s going to be 60 degrees today and our crew will be wrapping up the railings. This will conclude this spring’s project at your building. We want to extend our sincerest thanks to the building managers, businesses, and tenants of Woodlake Centre for allowing us to work with and for you! It has been our pleasure sprucing up the 3rd and 2nd floor hallways and metal railings surrounding the rotunda. We hope you enjoy it!

Edgar balances perfectly on the ladder to paint the outter railing.

Monday, March 27th: We hope you had a great weekend and now we’re back to the grind on this Monday. As you’re back at Woodlake Centre today, the crew is also onsite. They’re continuing to paint the metal railings along the rotunda on the 3rd and 2nd floors. We’re hopeful that we can finish up tomorrow and Woodlake Centre will be back to business as usual with some freshly painted walls and railings.

Alvaro expertly paints the railing balusters.

Edgar and Cesar team up to paint the railings.

Friday, March 24th: Happy Friday everyone! Though this weather isn’t anything to be excited about, the weekends are always welcomed. The forecars shows the sun will be back early next week.

The crew at Woodlake Centre is getting a start on the metal railings today. They’ll begin by taping off the railing areas and then priming the metal surfaces. Then they’ll finish with the railing coating.

The 2nd floor gets prepped and taped.

Cesar primes the railings to ensure the paint will adhere properly.

Teamwork from Migel and Cesar. Wet Paint signs are a must!

Thursday, March 23rd: As we near the end of the week, the crew continues to follow schedule and make their way down from the 3rd floor to the 2nd floor.

The crew is holding steady on the 2nd floor today. By day’s end they’ll also finish up with all of the walls and then they’ll start with the metal railings enclosing the rotunda on both the 3rd and 2nd floors.

Lots of tape and plastic to get clean edges and prevent drips.

Tuesday, March 21st: What a great Tuesday so far. We can’t really complain with the sun shining and the warmer temperatures. And though the weather outside is gorgeous, the crew inside at Woodlake Centre is getting to the grind.

The crew has completed one stretch of the East Hall walls and is continuing onto the Rotunda walls on the 3rd floor. Their progression of work will be to make their way around the 3rd floor rotunda and then repeat the process on the 2nd floor. Then they’ll begin on the metal railings enclosing the rotunda.

They are continuing to excercise caution when painting in your common areas by using drop cloths and displaying ‘Wet Paint’ signs throughout.

We’re just making sure our paint doesn’t end up where it shouldn’t!

Cesar paints a crisp line around the door frame.

Monday, March 20th: It’s officially the first day of spring! Our current weather isn’t showing it, but we’re hopeful that that spring feeling is right around the corner.

The crew is off and running at Woodlake Centre. The first and most important step in any project is to tape and prep with precision and thoroughness. We’re spending a good portion of the morning taping walls, doorframes, ceilings, etc to generate crisp corners and edges. The next portion of prep is utilizing plastic to cover floor surfaces to protect your hallways and common areas of paint drips. We’re very mindful to respect your space and keep any disruption to a minimum.

After the crew preps the work space, they’ll be painting on the 3rd floor East Hall walls. We’ll keep you updated on the blog as to our whereabouts and projected paint schedule.

Taping to achieve crisp edges and corners.

Thorough precautions to protect your space is a major priority.

Friday, March 17th: Cheers and Happy St. Patrick’s Day! It’s an exciting day- it’s Friday for one, and the weekend is in sight, all things green are encouraged, and March Madness is in full swing!

We’ll be starting your painting project on Monday 3/22. We’ll be painting primarily on the 2nd and 3rd floors- the rotunda walls, east hall walls, the rotunda railings, and we’ll be installing wall coverings on the 2nd and 3rd floor bathroom walls. This will have little impact your daily routines and happenings in the building. We’ll be sure to post ‘Wet Paint’ signs to avoid any of our material ending up anywhere besides the walls. We anticipate our crew will be onsite for about a week and a half.

Feel free to check back, right here on the blog for project and progress updates as well as some pictures! We’ll try and have some fun along the way as well!

Have yourselves a happy and lucky weekend and we’ll see you on Monday!
