TENTATIVE FINISHING SCHEDULE – UPDATED 6/5

We’ll update the schedule above as we progress on the project and know the pace of the painters. Stay tuned to the blog for updates and we will also post notices on your building in advance of pressure washing. Thanks!

Friday, June 8th: Hello and TGIF!

It’s Friday, the sun is shining, and we are wrapped up *mostly with your painting project at Heritage Village. We completed our walk through yesterday and made note of areas in need of touch ups. We’ll likely complete these next week on Monday, weather pending. Again, it has been our pleasure working with and for you this year. Have a great summer!

FRI-YAY!

Thursday, June 7th: Good afternoon! We are excited to say that we are wrapping up on your project today and are also completing our walk through to make sure all buildings are up -to -par and shining bright!

It has been our pleasure being onsite over the last month completing our carpentry repairs, pressure washing, and then painting of your buildings. We appreciate your cooperation in moving items to allow for washing and for unobsructed access while painting and staining. We hope you enjoy your freshly painted association and have a great rest of the summer!

Wednesday, June 6th:

So we had some major storms blow through the area over night and into this morning. And eventhough the weather seems like it will clear for the rest of the day, the surfaces got pretty soaked so they’ll need some time to dry before we can resume our painting. Buildings 17 and 19 remain and we’ll tackle them as soon as we’re able. Stay dry!

Tuesday, June 5th: Good morning!

We’ve updated our finishing schedule and Building 17 is starting today, which is a day ahead of schedule. We are finishing up 16, 18, and 20 as well. We’ll be completing touch ups and performing a walk through in the next couple of days. If you do see blue tape around your homes, please leave the tape as it designates areas for touch ups. Thanks!

Monday, June 4th: Hello and happy Monday! We hope you all had a great weekend.

We have the crews starting 3 of the 4 final Buildings today with prep and painting. We anticipate with clear skies, the crew will be starting the final building on Wednesday and be finished up by week’s end.

ANOTHER BUILDING AND ANOTHER DAY OF PREP WORK AND TAPING.

Wednesday, May 30th: Hello and happy Wednesday!

The crews are not onsite today due to weather. We’ll be tracking the rain and will let you know when the surfaces have sufficiently dried out allowing the painting to resume.

We’ve tentatively updated the finishing schedule for the remaining several buildings. You may notice we’ve jumped around a little and this is because we have 3 crews onsite and with varying crew size and the size differences between the buildings we won’t necessarily work in order. Please feel free to reach out if you have further questions regarding the schedule.

We plan to stick to the schedule above, weather permitting of course. Thanks in advance for your cooperation and patience as we can’t control Mother Nature.

Tuesday, May 29th: Good afternoon residents of Heritage! We hope you all had a great weekend!

It’s going to be another hot week – it’s crazy to think that on March 29th we were admist a blizzard. I think we’ll take the heat over the snow!

We have crews finishing up Buildings 10 and 11 today and then starting on Building 12, 13, and 15. We project that they’ll begin Building 16 on Friday, weather permitting. We’ll be keeping an eye on the weather and will keep you of any delays or ‘rain days.’

We’ll also be staining your decks as we go. Again, if you haven’t let Jesse know your stain color, please contact him via email or call, jesse@roellpainting.com or 612-363-4586.

CAULK AND PREP.

WHAT DO YOU MEAN IT’S 94 DEGRESS?!

Friday, May 25th: TGIF!

The crews will resume their painting today at noon due to the overnight rain.  Also, since we did have a decent amount of rain, we won’t be staining any decks today. So feel free to put your deck items back on for the long weekend and we’ll complete the staining next week.

We’ll be completing a thorough clean up of our work areas so you can have a tidy space and enjoy the long weekend!

WISHING YOU A BEAUTIFUL MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND. IN HONOR OF ALL THE VETERANS AS WELL AS THE ACTIVE SERVICE MEMBERS. THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU DO.

ROLLING INTO THE WEEKEND!

ANOTHER DAY AND ANOTHER ROUND OF PREP WORK.

Thursday, May 24th: Greetings!

It’s a scorcher out there! We hope you’re staying cool in this wicked heat. And it’s only going to getting hotter for this Memorial Day weekend!

The crews are rocking steady on Buildings 9, 10, and 11. They’ll be pressure washing the remaining buildings tomorrow as well. Once we wrap up for the day tomorrow we’ll be extensively cleaning up so your homes are BBQ-ready for the holiday weekend.

Wednesday, May 23rd:

PROJECT CHECK-IN

Tuesday, May 22nd: Hello residents of Heritage!

Quick update today: the crews are painting on Buildings 7, 9, and 10. We are also looking ahead to the end of the week and pressure washing the remaining 5 buildings (#15-20) as the forecated rain has seemed to dissipate and we’ll have a full week of prep and painting.

Monday, May 21st: Greetings and happy Monday!

We hope you all had a great weekend! It’s the start of another week and the crews are back to the grind. One of the crews is wrapping up on Building 6 and will then begin their prep on Building 7 today. Building 9 is also in progress, while the crew working on Building 8 will return tomorrow to finish it and then begin on Building 10.

We do have potential rain in the mix for this week, so stay tuned for any weather delays.

*Homeowners: Please contact Jesse 612-363-4586 with your deck stain information if you are able. Since there are slight varations across decks, we want to make sure to match the existing. If you do not have record or know the color that was used we will do our best to match the stain you already have. Thank you!

** Schedule update: We’ll be pressure washing Buildings 14/15 tomorrow. Thank you in advance for your cooperation in moving small or personal items from the outside of your home and deck to allow for safe an unobstructed access while washing and then painting.

Friday, May 18th: Hello and TGIF!

The weather looks pretty good for this weekend, with the possibility of some passing showers, but mostly warm and dry, which is good news for Art-a-Whirl. The event is this weekend and entails open art studios, workshops, markets, and any/all reasons to get out and enjoy exploring and connecting with the artist community in Northeast Minneapolis- read also that a lot of local breweries and establishments have coordinating events as well!  And let’s not forget the Royal Wedding and more importantly don’t forget to set an alarm- 6am is when the festivites are starting. Brit’s Pub on Nicollet Ave is hosting a viewing party from 5am-9am. Cheers!

The crews at Heritage are continuing on Buildings 5, 6, and 8. These buildings should be wrapped up by today and then we’ll be starting out prep and painting on Buildings 7 and 9 on Monday. Buildings 10 and 11 will be pushed back to Wednesday and Thursday, respectively.

ANOTHER DAY AND MORE PREP ON YOUR BUILDINGS.

SPRAYING ON THE COLOR – IT’S A WORK IN PROGRESS.

THE SIDING IS PREPPED AND CAULKED AND READY FOR PAINT.

Thursday, May 17th: Good afternoon!

The Royal Wedding is in two days and social media is having a heyday as many people have been following along in the planning since Prince Harry and Megan Markle’s engagement. One thing we’re looking forward to is Will Ferrell and Molly Shannon’s revival of their TV fictional characters Cord and Tish to live broadcast coverage of the Royal Wedding on HBO.

TISH AND CORD HAVE PREPARED A SPECIAL SONG FOR PRINCE HARRY AND MEGAN.

The crews at Heritage have begun their prep and painting on Buildings 6 and 8 today. They’re also continuing on Buildings 5. We’ll be updating the schedule tomorrow for the early part of next week.

Wednesday, May 16th: Hello and happy heat wave Wednesday! It’s a warm one, but it feels so good especially after the winter we’ve had!

We’ve updated our finishing schedule above – note* we’ll be starting Buildings 6 and 8 tomorrow and then 7 will start on Monday, May 21st. There’s a jump in the order because of how we pressure washed them and designating crews to each building.

The crews are also pressure washing buildings 10, 11, 12, and 13 today.

Tuesday, May 15th: Good afternoon!

Did you know it’s 100 days until the Minnesota State Fair? So far they’ve announced the Grandstand line up and soon they’ll be announcing the free stage entertainment shows and the much anticipated new foods list! I suppose this is the start to our ‘100 Days of Summer’ in MN – ready go!

The crews are continuing on Buildings 3 and 5 today. We’ve adjusted our schedule a bit so please note we’ll be starting Building 6 on Thursday and Building 7 & 8 on Friday. The crew will also be pressure washing Buildings 10, 11, 12 and 13 tomorrow as scheduled.

ALL TAPED UP AND READY FOR PAINT.

Monday, May 14th: Good morning residents of Heritage Village. We are in for a treat this week – sunny skies and temperatures in the 80s. Now this is the May weather we’ve been waiting for.

We made an error on our end with scheduling, Buildings 10-13 will not be pressure washed today, but instead will be pressure washed on Wednesday. Sorry if there was any confusion!

The crews have completed Buildings 1 & 2, aside from the decks and are now prepping and painting on Buildings 3 & 4.

DID WE MENTION THE IMPORTANCE OF A THOROUGH PREP?

THE CREWS’ DETAILED AND CAREFUL PREP WILL YIELD A CLEAN AND CRISP FINISHED PRODUCT.

Friday, May 11th: Hello and TGIF! It seems the rain has held off and the crews are taking full advantage. They’re continuing to prep and paint on Buildings 1& 2. We’ll start on Buildngs 3, 4, and 5 on Monday – with prep work and also starting to paint. Buildings 10, 11, 12, and 13 will be pressure washed on Monday as well. UPDATE** These buildings will be washed on Wednesday, May 16th.

We want to wish all of the Moms a Happy Mother’s day! Have a great weekend!

Thursday, May 10th: Good morning residents of Heritage! We’ve finally caught a break in the rain and the crews are ready to rock! They’re beginning their prep work this morning and then will begin painting this afternoon – for the temperature to rise a bit and also any moisture to dissipate.

We’re continuing to keep a watchful eye on the radar and forecast for tomorrow – rain is likely possible and we will let you know whether or not we’ll be onsite.

Thanks!

RAIN DELAY @ HERITAGE VILLAGE TOWNHOMES

Good morning! Unfortunately with these gloomy skies and forecasted rain we are going to delay the start of your project. The rest of the week looks hit or miss with rain, but we are hopeful to start on Thursday, 5/10. We’ll be updating the blog to reflect the most current information, so feel free to check back. Thanks!

Monday, May 7th: Good afternoon residents of Heritage Village. We hope you all had a great weekend – it was one for the books!

The crews are underway with pressure washing Buildings #5-9 as well as continuing carpentry repairs and replacements. We’ll be keeping an eye on the weather for potential rain this week and will notify residents of any delay here on the blog. Thanks!

Friday, May 4th: TGIF! It’s a beautiful day and it’s looking just as great for the weekend!

The crews have started pressure washing Buildings 1-4 and will wash Building 5-6 on Monday, 5/7. We’ve added more Buildings to our schedule above as well as moved up the prep and painting dates for Buildings 1-2. We will update the schedule above as often as we can; once the crews get going we’ll be able to better gauge their pace, but with the dry and warmer weather ahead we do anticipate we’ll be getting to buildings sooner than anticipated.

Thursday, May 3rd: Good afternoon!

You may have seen the ‘blue crew’ onsite today- they are our seasoned carpentry duo. They’re making their way through the association to repair and replace approved areas.

We’ll begin pressure washing your buildings tomorrow as well. Slight change, we’ll be adding Building 4 to the list for tomorrow. We’ll be washing 1-4 tomorrow and then 5-6 on Friday.

Tuesday, May 1st: Happy May Day! We can’t believe it’s finally May and that the weather is finally aligning with the ‘Spring’ months.

Your project is on the cusp of starting as we are finalizing our schedule and allocating crews. Firstly, the carpentry crew will begin their repairs on select homes starting tomorrow, Wednesday, 5/2. Included in this scope of work is repair of select siding, trim, and decking substrates. We anticipate this will take roughly 5-7 working days to complete and they should be done by Wednesday, 5/9.

Secondly, we’ll also begin pressure washing Buildings 1 – 3 on Friday, 5/4 and then Buildings 4-6 on Monday, 5/7. If you reside in these buildings, we kindly ask that you please remove any small and/or personal items from the outside of your home and deck to allow for safe and unobstructed access for washing and painting. Thank you in advance for your cooperation!

Once these buildings have been washed and have had adequate time to dry, we’ll be back onsite to begin our prepping and painting of included surfaces on the 1st Building and will then work on buildings in numerical order. Prep and Painting is anticipated to begin on the 1st Building on Wednesday, 5/9.

Stay tuned, here on the blog for progress and schedule updates as well as any changes that may come up due to weather. We’ll also be posting pictures of the progress!

Thank you for having us and we look forward to starting your project tomorow!

Monday, April 30th: Good afternoon! What a gorgeous day; we are finally into the coveted spring weather!

The morning rain has pushed back the start of our carpentry crew to ensure surfaces have dried completely. Our carpenters will be onsite Wednesday to begin their completing of any and all replairs prior to the start of painting. We’ll be posting notices tomorrow to notify those residents to which areas we’ll be working on. Thanks!

Friday, April 13th: We are in for another April snow storm and not a more fitting day than today, Friday the 13th. Today’s rain will turn to snow late -afternoon and the Metro could see between 6″- 12″ of snowfall. Fingers crossed this is the last snowfall Mother Nature throws our way. Stay safe and have a great weekend!

Once the snow clears and the weather warms up a bit, we’ll begin your painting project at Heritage Village. Your project will entail the prepping and finishing of the 52 units (20 buildings) in your association. We’ll be painting the exterior surfaces -including siding, garage doors, soffits, trim boards, fascia, wood window trim wood trim, and entry support columns. We’ll also be prepping and staining deck floors, railings, support posts, and screen frames & stair treads where applicable.

As we near closer to the start date, we’ll post a route map detailing specifically where the crew will start and the route they’ll follow to complete the project. We will also post a finishing schedule to alert homeowners as to when we’ll be painting on their building.

We encourage you to utilize this project blog to stay apprised of project progress, finishing schdules, and any other updates or weather delays if they happen to come up. We’ll be posting progres updates and pictures several times a week.

Thanks so much for logging on and we’ll see you soon!
