We have wrapped!

It’s amazing what a week of warm and clear weather can do! Just wish we had it back at the end of October, but it’s like we’ve always said – Mother Nature is not on our payroll and will just need to roll with the punches. 

Thank you again for your patience and cooperation as we navigated some early cold and snow delays. We hope you have a great rest of the year!

Thursday, November 5th: Good afternoon! 

The crew is continuing with their prep and staining of the remaining decking areas. Let’s keep this warmer weather forever please!

Tuesday, November 3rd: Hello! 

We are back onsite! 

With this turn of warmer weather, the crew is back onsite to complete as much of the staining as the weather will allow. We’re tentatively set to be onsite today through Saturday. Thanks!

Thursday, October 22nd: Greetings! 

Well, the snow came fast and furious. We are going to put your project on HOLD and resume in the spring with the completion of the pressure washing of the designated exterior buildings along with the remainder of the staining to select decks, posts, and skirts. 

Thanks so much for your continued patience. We’ve learned that Mother Nature has her own agenda and we have to work around the elements — rain putting the biggest delay on your project the week of October 12th.

Friday, October 16th: Good morning! 

After some unexpected snow this morning… the crew is called off from staining today. We’re glad to report it was a short stint and we’ll be back on track on Sunday, 10/18 to resuming the staining. Thanks!

Thursday, October 15th: Greetings! 

We are back onsite! 

It’s a beautiful fall day to be onsite at Kingsfield. The select deck floors in Phase 1 are complete and we are waiting to starting on the skirts and posts. They’ve also started to stain the select areas in Phase 2. Hoping for continues dry and clear weather to continue the momentum to get your decking completed as quickly as we can. Thank you!

Monday, October 12th: Good afternoon! 

We hope you all had a great weekend. We are continuing to work on getting a new stain match approved and will get back to staining as soon as it does. We’ve completed Phase 1 – Buildings 1 and part of Building 2. 

The crew is onsite today also beginning to pressure wash the rear of select buildings and also remove select skirt boards for inspection.

Wednesday, October 7th: Good morning! 

Staining continues in Phase I at Kingsfield. The crew is starting off at Building 2 today. Once your decking has been stained, we recommend waiting 24 hours before returning items. Thanks!

Monday, October 5th: Greetings! 

The crew is onsite and starting to stain the included areas in Phase 1 at Kingsfield. With a dry and warm weather week ahead, we’re hopeful to get through the staining this week. They’ll move along the route in Phase 1 and then move to Phase 2. Thank you again for your patience as we were waiting for several dry days to get the decks ready for stain. 

Wednesday, September 30th: Good morning! 

All of the washing in Phase 2 in complete and we will return on Monday, 10/5 to start staining in Phase I. With some scattered rain and moisture this week, we will pus back our staining start date. Thanks!

Tuesday, September 29th: Greetings! 

The crew is continuing to pressure wash the included areas in Phase II of the project. We’ve pushed back the staining to Thursday to make certain surface are dry. Thanks! 

Monday, September 28th: Good morning! 

The crew is going to hold off on starting to stain the decking because of the rain we got yesterday. They will be starting the pressure washing in Phase 2 as scheduled – thanks! 

Friday, September 25th: Hello and TGIF! 

The crew is done with the pressure washing in Phase 1. They’ll return on Monday to start both washing Phase 2 and also staining in Phase 1.

Tuesday, September 22nd: Greetings! 

The crew is continuing to wash the remaining decks in Phase I of the project. They’ll finish up tomorrow and  then return on Thursday, 9/24 to start staining at Phase I, Building I. Thanks!

Monday, September 21st: Good morning!

The crew is off and running at Kingsfield Village with pressure washing. 

They’ll be washing in Phase 1 starting today — the included areas vary by building/unit, but are front, over garage, and rear decks. The washing of included areas will continue through tomorrow. 

They’ll return on Thursday, 9/24 to begin staining in Phase 1, Building 1. Thanks!

Friday, September 18th: Good afternoon! 

Welcome to your project blog for the upcoming decking project at Kingsfield Village. We are looking forward to being onsite with you!

We will begin the process of refinishing decking in your association on Monday, 9/21 with pressure washing of front, over garage, and rear decks in Phase I – shown in ORANGE on the map above. 

We kindly ask that you please remove all personal items from your decks for the pressure washing and staining to allow for safe and unobstructed access. If you do not remove your contents, the crew will skip your unit until this is resolved. The pressure washing will take multiple days to complete all units in Phase 1. 

We are tentatively set to return on Thursday, 9/24 to begin staining the included decking on the first building in Phase 1 and will continue along the route to finish all four buildings in Phase 1. 

We understand this project will have an impact on your daily routine and we will do our best to complete the project promptly so your items can be returned to your decks. 

We will be posting more notices regarding washing/staining dates for Phase 2 as we near that portion of the project. 

You can continue to follow the project progress here on the blog as we’ll post frequent updates, share photos, and let you know of any weather delays as rain will impact the finishing schedule.
