Friday, September 1st: Happy September!

The crew is wrapping up at Old Farm. Thanks again for having us. It was our pleasure working with and for you this year!

We hope you all have a safe and fun holiday weekend!

Tuesday, August 29th: Good afternoon residents of Old Farm!

The crew was a short a few members today, so they have a few items to finish up tomorrow morning and then your project will be complete. Thanks again for having us!

Monday, August 28th: Good afternoon! We hope you all had a great weekend!

The crew is onsite after a weekend full of rain and finishing up the window trim. They’re hopful to wrap up tomorrow. It’s been our pleasure working with and for you this summer. We hope you have a great rest of the year!

Thursday, August 24th: Hello and Happy first day of the MN Fair! Al Roker from the Today show helped to kick off this year’s MN Fair. Check out the video of him, Andrew Zimmern, and Governer Al Franken showing off some of the fair’s fan-favorites and new foods at this year’s event.

The crew at Old Farm is continuing to paint remaining window trim and also the railings. They’re hoping to wrap up tomorrow!

Tuesday, August 22nd: Good afternoon and we couldn’t be happier to see the sun and get a full day of painting in!

The crew has finishing painting garage door frames and garage doors and patio doors/frames. They’re currently completing the window trim and this will continue over the next few days. They’ll begin painting the railings tomorrow and this will also continue through the week. We anticipate, if the weather cooperates, to wrap up on Friday. Thanks!

Monday, August 21st: Happy Monday and Happy Total Solar Eclipse Day! Here’s a link with all things related to the eclipse and safe viewing in MN. Anyone else have Bonnie Tyler’s ‘Total Eclipse of the Heart’ playing on repeat in their head?!

The crew is prepping and painting as the weather allows; it seems there may be a few showers this afternoon. Pictures coming soon!

Friday, August 18th: It seems we’re having a bit of déjà vu- rain and more rain, though tomorrow looks more promising! Lots of happenings around the Twin Cities ~ free movies in the park, numerous farmer’s markets, and the St. Paul food truck festival. We’re crossing our fingers for drier weekend weather!

The crew was painting door frames this morning as doors/frames are semi-covered from an overhang. They’ll continue to paint as long as it isn’t too wet.

Thursday, August 17th: Good morning!

Rain, rain, go away… it seems Mother Nature has alternate plans than for us continue painting at your buildings. We’re hoping for clearer skies tomorrow so we can get back to it! Stay tuned!

Wednesday, August 16th:

Rain Delay @ Old Farm

Tuesday, August 15th: Hello Old Farm! We’re less than 10 days out from the start of the MN Fair and Today’s Al Roker has announced he’ll be onsite to live broadcast on opening day, August 24th. There’s a chance also to win tickets to the live broadcast. We can already smell the fried goodness.

And the beat goes on at your association. The crew is painting on the creme buildings and then will complete various trim areas.

Francisco carefully paints the siding edge.

Mauricio tapes off and paints the support post.

Couldn’t be happier for this sunny day!

Monday, August 14th: Good afternoon and Happy Monday! We hope you all had a great weekend!

The crew got a later start today due to yesterday’s rain to assure the surfaces had dried out. The crew has completed the tan buildings and is currently working on the 14338 Sorrel Building. They have 2 of the creme buildings left to paint.

Friday, August 11th: TGIF! After two rain days, the crew is back onsite and in much more favored weather conditions. It looks as though today and tomorrow are going to be beautiful days! We hope you all have a great weekend!

The crew is working on the South side of Sorrel Way on the 14367 and 14317 Buildings to wrap up the ‘tan’ colored buildings. They will then begin on the ‘creme’ colored buildings in the SW corcer of the association off of Sorrel and Mitchel.

Wednesday, August 9th: Good morning! It seems as though Mother Nature has other plans than to continue painting your buildings today. Rain for the rest of today and potentially into tomorrow. We’ll keep you updated as to when the crew will return once the rain subsides and the substrates have had time to dry. Thanks!

Rain Delay @ Old Farm

Tuesday, August 8th: Good afternoon! As we continue into August, the reality of back to school and the ‘end of summer’ is creeping closer. If you haven’t had a chance to go to a movie in the park, this week there are several options from the Minneapolis Park and Recreation: Ghostbusters, Drop Dead Gorgeous, and Moana. Movies begin 15 minutes after sunset.

Please disregard the map above for today’s painting as the crew is working to paint garage doors and then scrape and prep frames similtaneously. Today they’re painting garages on the 8434 Morgan. They’re also working on scraping on 8404/8406 Morgan. We’re working to get the crew back to the route listed above tomorrow or midweek.

Monday, August 7th: Hello and happy Monday! We hope you all had a great weekend!

The crew is back onsite to begin their prep work and then finishing of the first areas for completion.

Thursday, August 3rd: Good morning residents of Old Farm!

We’ll be starting your project tomorrow, Friday 8/4 with pressure washing of select garage doors in the association. The crew will return to start prepping and finishing misc. trim areas on all homes including front door frames, garage door frames, wood patio doors/frames, wood windows and the wood top on privacy walls next week. The crew will be accessing your deck via ladders to finish some of these trim areas so please be aware of their presence. We are projecting that we’ll begin prep and painting on the first building on Monday, 8/7.

We anticipate the entire project to take 2-3 weeks but this may be impacted by weather. The best way to stay apprised of progress, updates, and any schedule changes is right here on the blog! We’ll try and have some fun along the way as well!
