Door Painting Complete
GREETINGS AND WELCOME TO THE PROJECT BLOG FOR THE 2017 DOOR PAINTING PROJECT AT LAFAYETTE PARK! WE ARE EXCITED TO BE BACK ONSITE!
Thursday, September 28th: It’s a great day to be a Twins fan!! The MN Twins clinched the second wild-card spot last night when the Chicago White Sox beat the Los Angeles Angels. The players had quite an evening of celebrating in their club house complete with champagne showers and lots of smiles. The team will travel to play either the Yankees or the Red Sox on Tuesday!
We’ll begin painting your front door tomorrow between 8:30am and 5pm. Again, there is still time to make an appointment for a specific time. Thanks!
Monday, September 25th: Good afternoon and Happy Monday! We hope you all enjoyed the hot and sunny weekend weather!
We’d like to say thank you to those homeowners who have scheduled a time for door painting. We’ve had a lot of requests come in and there are still plenty of spots and time to schedule before painting begins on Friday. Thanks!
Wednesday, September 20th: Hello residents of Lafayette Park! You may have found your way to our project blog via blue notice taped to your garage door, welcome!
Your door is 1 of 47 doors designated for painting in this year’s painting project. We’ll be onsite Friday, 9/29 and Saturday, 9/30 from 8:30 until 5pm. The crew will be knocking on doors during those time frames, if you’re home, kindly open your door to have it painted. They will make 3 attempts to paint your door and on the 3rd attempt they will then paint your door in the closed position.
If you prefer to make an appointment for a specific time on that Friday or Saturday, please reference availability in the tables above and then comment on the blog with your address and date/time requested. Thanks!
Once the doors are painted, they’ll need a minimum of 2.5 hours in the open position to dry sufficiently. We appreciate your participation and cooperation in completing your project. Thanks in advance!
