Friday, July 14th: Hello and TGIF! It’s going to be hot, hot, hot tomorrow so make sure to drink lots of water and try and stay out of the heat. If you’re looking for some fun and free stuff to do this weekend, the City Pages puts out Freeloader Friday– a summary of various happenings around the Twin Cities. Movies in the Park- Zootopia at Lake Harriet is playing tonight, the Ramset County Fair is all weekend, and then a Bastille Day block party at Barbette in Uptown on Sunday are a few that stand out.

The crew has been out and about painting front doors and we want to say thank you to those that have signed up! Thursday, July 13th: Good afternoon. It’s an exciting weekend for Minneapolis. The X- Games are being held at U.S. Bank Stadium. This is the first time the games are being held in the Midwest and we are excited that Minneapolis was the chosen venue. It’s reported that close to 100,000 people will be attending and in the area for the games. The best skateboarders, BMX racers, and motocross drivers will be entertaining audiences from today through Sunday. Linked is the X-Games website if you’re interested in attending any of the events or want to check out what all the hype is about.

The crew is makingt their way around the buildings to paint shutters, gas meters, handrails, and mailbox stands. They’ve been painting at Buildings #1-6. Tomorrow and Friday they’ll be painting residence doors. Thank you to those who have made appointments on our blog. If you haven’t done so already, please make an appointment. It makes the door painting run more smoothly and efficiently if the crew doesn’t have to walk around and knock on doors.

Thanks!

Tuesday, July 11th: Greetings residents of Hadley Crossing in Maplewood and welcome to your project blog for this summer’s painting project. We’ll be getting your project started tomorrow, Wednesday with painting of common elements – gas meters, shutters, entry step handrails, and mailbox stands. Later this week, on Friday, 7/14 and Saturday, 7/15 we’ll be painting the resident doors. This will require some cooperation and planning on your part, as we will be painting the doors in the open position.

For the door painting, the crew will be knocking on doors from 9am-4pm on Friday and Saturday and if you are available, please open the door to have us paint. You can also schedule a specific day/time to paint your front door. Comment below in the ‘Leave a Comment’ section with your address, day, and time on the hour (i.e. 1250 Kerry Lane, 10am Saturday). We can take appointments on the hour and will have 3 slots available. You can also call our office at 763-559-5296 to schedule a time.

Once your door is painted, it will need to be left open for a minimum of 2 hours to ensure the paint dries completely. Roell Painting will not be responsible nor will we perform touchups for damages caused by closing doors too early.

Thanks so much and we appreciate your cooperation and participation!
