Greetings and welcome to your project blog for the upcoming staining project at Decatur HOA. We are thrilled to be working with and for you this year!

Friday, June 13th: Good morning!

The crew was able to get some staining done on Wednesday before the rain came in. Buildings #1, #4 & #5 are fully completed. Buildings #2, #3 & #6 are partially completed with just the deck floors still needing to be stained. 

With the rain today, the crew will not be onsite. Have a great weekend and thank you for your patience with the weather delays!

Tuesday, June 10th: Greetings!

Weather permitting, the crew plans to be onsite tomorrow to begin staining at Building # 1.

Monday, June 9th: Good morning!

Due to the rain the crew will not begin staining today. Once we have a new staining start date, it will be posted here. Thank you for your patience and understanding with the weather.

Thursday, June 5th: Greetings!

The crew completed pressure washing all of your decks on Tuesday. In order to let the substrates dry out before we begin staining, they will return on Monday, 6/9 to begin the staining process.

Tuesday, June 3rd: Good morning!

The crew is onsite to begin pressure washing the included decks. The map above is updated, as 4 of the decks that were originally included have been removed from the scope of work.

Friday, May 30th: Greetings!

The meeting this morning went great. The crew will return Tuesday, 6/3 to pressure wash the included decks. On Friday, 6/6 they will return to begin prep & staining. Have a great weekend!

Thursday, May 29th: Good afternoon!

Tieler and Jason will be meeting onsite tomorrow with Sarah (the property manager) and the board to discuss color selections and an updated project timeline.

We hope everyone had a great Memorial Day! The crew is onsite and pressure washing is underway. Above is a map of the route the crew will take to pressure wash and they will follow the same route when they return to stain next week.

Thursday, May 22nd: Greetings Residents of Decatur!

Welcome to your project blog for the upcoming staining project. We are looking forward to refreshing your decks!

Please be advised our crew is scheduled to begin pressure washing in anticipation of the upcoming staining project in the association. The pressure washing tasks are scheduled to begin on Tuesday, May 27th.

We kindly request that each homeowner remove all small personal belongings from the outside of your home and items off of your decks to allow for safe & unobstructed access for the pressure washing.

After decking surfaces have been washed, the wood will need time to dry before the crew returns to begin prepping and staining of the included surfaces. We anticipate that prep work & staining will start on the first deck in the community on Tuesday, June 3rd. We anticipate that the entire project (pressure washing & deck staining) will be completed within 2 weeks; however, your unit may be completed much sooner. Please be aware that the weather will likely affect our completion schedule.

We realize that this project may disrupt your daily routine, and we will do our best to complete it as quickly as possible so that everyone can enjoy the remainder of the spring and summer.
