We’ll begin pressure washing on Friday, 5/7 at the 5529 and 5530 Buildings. Once the areas have had adequate time to dry, we’ll return to begin our prep and painting at the first building – 5530. We are anticipating to begin prep/painting on Wednesday, 5/12. The project will take about 2 weeks complete painting at both buildings.
The best way to obtain a project update is to check back here on the blog as we’ll post updates frequently regarding project status, photos, and any weather/rain delays should they come up. Thanks!
Tuesday, May 4th: Good morning!
Welcome to your project blog for the upcoming painting project at West Village in Edina. We are looking forward to refreshing the exterior of your buildings – 5529 -5537 Village Drive & 5530 – 5536 Village Drive.
For this summer’s project we’ll be prepping and painting select areas of your exterior – soffits, siding, fascia, garage frames, storm doors, front door frames, front porch undersides, deck railings, entry columns, deck support posts, screen frames/doors (exterior side only), deck undersides where applicable, and privacy fencing.
We will soon post a route map of the included buildings and tentative finishing schedule so you can know when to expect the crew at your building.
We have a crew that will be kicking off later this week with pressure washing, which will likely take the crew several days to complete.
We kindly request that you please remove all small personal items from the exterior of your home for the pressure washing to allow for safe and unobstructed access. Once the washing is complete, you may return the items to their normal place.
After the surfaces have had time to dry (about 5-7 days) the crew will return to begin their prep and painting at Building 1.
The best way to obtain a project status update and any impact it may have to your daily routine will be posted here as we’ll share progress throughout, photos, and any weather delays.
Please reach out to the contacts below if you have any questions.
We’re looking forward to getting started later this week!
