It’s crazy to say since we’re already into February and maybe it seems there is some light at the end of this (winter) tunnel?!

Just a friendly reminder we’ll be onsite tomorrow from 9am until 1pm to paint your residence doors. Contact us to schedule a time or please make yourselves available. Thanks so much! 

Tuesday, January 29th: Hello! 

The crew has wrapped in the hallways and stairwells at France Way! They’ll return on Saturday, 2/2 to paint the remaining residence doors. We’ve posted notices on those doors remaining – please make yourself available on Saturday to allow one of the crew members to paint or schedule a specific time for someone to be at your door. Monday, January 28th: Good afternoon!

Buckle Up Minnesotans!

The weather has delivered with a big hit of snow and the deep freeze is up to bat. The next few days are going to be at just-about record low temperatures! Be safe everyone!

The crew is onsite today completing touch-ups on the painted areas as well as painting in the entry way. They’ll be able to paint your residence door too if you’re home for a bit to allow it to dry in the open position. Otherwise, we are hopeful to get the remaining doors painted on Saturday, 2/2. Friday, January 25th: Hello and TGIF! 

We’re in the thick of it, folks! Keep those hat, mittens, scarves at bay and embrace the cold. If you’re really looking to welcome the cold, check out St. Paul’s Winter Carnival activites — happening throughout the weekend.

The crew is prepping and painting on the 1st floor and stairwell. They’ll get to ~95% completed today  and then return on Monday to complete some touch ups and detail work as well as thoroughly clean up. 

Regarding residence door painting, the crew has tackled a few this week already which is great! We’ll be onsite on Saturday, 2/2 from 9am until 1pm to specifically paint your doors. We’ve made a schedule for door painting, below. Please check times available before scheduling. To schedule a specific time please comment below with your preferred time (we prefer to schedule on the hour) and your unit number. You may also call our office 763-559-5296. Thanks!

Once the doors are painted, they will need to be left open for a minimum of 2 hours after completion. Roell Painting will not be responsible and/or will not perform touch ups for damages caused by closing doors too quickly.

Wednesday, January 23rd: Hello and good afternoon!

Super Bowl 53 is just under 2 weeks away. The New England Patriots and the Los Angeles Rams will face off in Atlanta – which is the same matchup from the 2001-2002 season. Now that our home team isn’t in the picture, you say Superbowl and we say commercials! 

Bubbly Water has already leaked a preview of their ad campaign as well as Doritos. This year will surely produce precious seconds of buzz-worthy advertising and also some flops. We’re ready to be the judge!

The France Way crew is surely staying hydrated and contiuing their prep and painting on the 2nd floor. They’ve completed the 2nd floor ceiling and some areas of millwork- on the railings. Today, they’re working on the hallway walls on the 2nd floor.

Tuesday, January 22nd: Good morning residents of France Way in Edina! The Roell crew is ready to #brushandroell and get your project started! Just as any project unfolds it is similar to a dance — and would you look at your neighbors across the street are doing their own kind of dance!

The crews are getting started on the 2nd floor with prep work and covering the floors and exposed areas. They’ll begin with patching and prepping the ceilings and then painting the ceilings. This will be followed by walls, frames, and millwork.

We’ll be painting your residence doors as well and the crew will be knocking on doors, likely starting today. If you are home to open your door and have some time to keep it open to dry, we’d appreciate it! Thursday, January 17th: Hello and good afternoon! 

Welcome to your project blog for the interior painting project at your condo building. We’ll be prepping and painting your common area walls, including the garage lobby walls, stairwell walls and hallway walls, and the 2nd floor ceiling. We will also be prepping and painting your stairway railings/spindles, stair skirts, doors/frames, baseboards, select windows and elevator doors/frames. 

As we near the end of the project, we’ll begin painting your residence doors. This will require some participation from each resident as we will be painting the door while in the open position. We will have set dates and times that you can sign up for, based on your own convenience and availability to be home while we are painting you door. A separate notice will be posted in advance of the door painting will further details and we will also post information here on the blog.

You can follow project progress here on the blog as we’ll provide frequent updates, photos, and any updates to the schedule.
