Colonial Village- Eagan

Project Complete

Greetings and welcome to the official blog for the painting project @ Colonial Village in Eagan. We are excited to be onsite with you!

Wednesday, October 26th: Hello residents of Colonial Village. We hope your week is off to a great start. We’ve completed our punch list of touch ups and other miscellaneous paint work across the buildings. It has been a pleasure working with and for you and we’ve enjoyed speaking with many of you as well!

We’ll be getting the interior painting underway in the next week or so, so stay tuned!

Wednesday, October 19th: Greetings Colonial Village. We’ve made it to the middle of the week and the weekend is in sight! The walk-through was completed today with Roell Painting and your property manager. Our crew will be onsite over the next few days to complete the touch ups and make sure we have everything covered!

Monday, October 17th: Good morning residents of Colonial Village. We hope you all had a great weekend and enjoyed the weather! We’re finishing up the last building today and project is complete pending walk through.

It seems we’ve matched the accent wall to the fall trees.

Thursday, October 13th: Greetings Colonial Village. The crew is painting the red walls and also the second coat of the deck areas on Building 1919. We should wrap up by early-mid next week.

Loving the red color juxtaposed next to the fall foliage.

Wednesday, October 12th: Hello Colonial Village! Quite the chilly weather we’re having. With the rain, damp weather, and cooler temperature our crew is not onsite today. We’ll be back tomorrow with warmer temps and sunny skies.

Tuesday, October 11th: Good morning residents of Colonial Village. We hope you all had a great weekend. Our apologies for the gap in updates- our office manager, Dana was in Chicago supporting her sisters run the Marathon and is just back in the office today. The crew is priming and painting the last few buildings and also the garages.

Taping, prepping, and painting in progress for the garages.

The crew puts the final coat on the parking lot side of Building 1919.

Wednesday, October 5th: Good morning residents of Colonial Village. We hope your week is off to a great start and the good news is, we’re half way to the weekend! The crews have completed 2 buildings thus far and are working on the last 4 buildings simultaneously. The garages should be started this week as well.

Check out our drone video of a ‘before’ and ‘in progress’ building.

Friday, September 30th: Happy Friday ya’ll. We are loving this beautiful fall weather! And the good news is that it continues for several days! Nick and Dana were onsite today taking some pictures of the progress made thus far. They also flew the drone around the property to take ‘before’ and ‘after’ shots of the building transformation. Stay tuned for the video…

We’re liking the view from way up here.

Thursday, September 29th: Good morning Colonial Village. We hope you’re having a great week. The crew is onsite completing pressure washing of the 1919 Building today.

Monday, September 26th: Good afternoon residents of Colonial Village. Our crew should be wrapping things up on Building 1 today. With Building 1 complete, we’ll begin on Building 2. The painting for Building 3 is also in progress. With what we hope to be a dry week ahead, the crew is planning to start the garages as well.

Tuesday, September 20th: The crew is working on the dividers and pillars and will then start pressure washing the 3rd building.

And the red goes up on the dividers.

Monday, September 19th: Good afternoon residents of Colonial Village. We hope you had a great weekend! Our crew is working on painting Building 1959.

We’re loving the gray color scheme.

The crew utilizes careful prep before painting.

Friday, September 16th: Happy Friday everyone! Because of the rain and moisture we were unable to get a ton done today. When we’re back on, we’ll be spraying the final coat for the 1st half of the building. Have a great weekend!

Monday, September 12th: Good afternoon residents at Colonial Village. We hope you all had a great weekend and enjoyed the sunnier and cooler temps. Our crew is priming the first building. They’re beginning at the north side of the building and then moving west around to the rest of the building.

Friday, September 9th: So maybe we spoke too soon…there’s rain in the forecast for today as well. The good news is the weekend and next week’s forecast is perfect!

Have a great weekend!

Thursday, September 8th: We made it out of the rain and the sun is shining! Our crew will be pressure washing the 2nd designated building and the garage today. Painting will be getting underway at the start of next week.

Tuesday, September 6th: Perhaps you’ve found your way to our blog by way of notices taped around your apartment complex, welcome! We’ll be getting underway pressure washing buildings 1959 and 1965 tomorrow and continue through the week. If you reside in either of those buildings we ask that you please remove small items, i.e. windchimes, knick knacks, etc. No need to remove everything just yet. At a later date, which we will inform you of we’ll need some more participation from you to remove all items when the painting begins. We look forward to getting started!

Wednesday, August 31st: Good morning residents of Colonial Village! We hope your week is off to a great start. Your project will be getting underway next week after Labor Day on 9/7. We’ll begin by power washing 2 of the buildings. Also, as you may have seen on the side of your building, color samples have been painted to get a good match and good news is we’ve settled on a color. After pressure washing, we’ll begin painting. This will entail painting most substrates on all of the buildings and will take about 6 weeks, depending on what Mother Nature throws our way.

We will do our very best to keep you fully apprised of the project and the best way to do that is to follow the project progress right here on the blog. Stay tuned right here for ongoing updates as they will  be provided 2-3 times per week. Thanks so much for having us and we’re looking forward to getting things underway!
