Greetings and welcome to your project blog for the painting project at Mississippi Flats in St. Paul. We are thrilled to be onsite and working with and for you this fall!
Monday, November 12th: Good morning and Happy Veteran’s Day. We want to say thank you to those that have served and continue to serve.

The crew is painting in your trash rooms today and is otherwise complete! Thank you again for having us at your condo. We’ve enjoyed being onsite and refreshing your hallways, stairwells, lobby and trash rooms.
Friday, November 9th: Good afternoon!
The crew is continuing to complete touch ups at Mississippi Flats. Yesterday, they completed the 5th and 4th floors and now today they’ll continue to make their way down to the lobby.
It has been our pleasure to be onsite painting at your building. We hope you enjoy your freshly painted ceilings, walls, and door frames and have a great rest of the year!
Thursday, November 8th: Hello!
I think it’s safe to say the winter coats, hats, and gloves are here to stay!
The crew is prepping the walls and applying the 2nd coat of paint in Stairwell D. They’ll be finishing up in the stairwell today and also moving up to the 5th floor, working their way down, to complete touch ups. Thanks!

Wednesday, November 7th: Good afternoon residents of Mississippi Flats!
We’ve had quite the change in weather and it’s feeling more like dare we say, winter? And in just a few weeks it will be Thanksgiving. Cue the snow, holiday lights and decorations, parties, gift giving, and cheery spirits!

Tuesday, November 6th: Hello and good afternoon!
It’s Election Day – if you haven’t already, get out there and vote!
The crew has resumed in full force at Mississippi Flats. The crew has finished the lobby and will paint the remaining area, the front entry tomorrow. They are wrapping up in stairwell A and B and should be done by tomorow. And lastly, stairwell C is in progress. Thanks!

The crew is completed touch ups at another porject this morning and will return to Mississippi Flats this afternoon. We’ll post a progress update and pictures when they’re back in St. Paul. Thanks!
Friday, November 2nd: Good afternoon and TGIF!
The crew is continuing to prep and paint in the lobby as well as in the stairwells.

Thursday, November 1st: Bippity Boppity Boo! And just like that we are into November – where has the time gone?
The crew is finishing up on the 2nd floor this morning and will then move into the lobby to prep and paint. There is also part of the crew starting to prep and paint in the South stairwell as well. Thanks!

Wednesday, October 31st: Happy Halloween!
At least that’s what it seems like, but in all seriousness- enjoy the trick or treaters, maybe watch Halloween, Hocus Pocus or your favorite scary movie, and make sure to get your sweet tooth fix.
The crew is painting the 2nd coat on the 2nd floor. The crew is planning to move down to the lobby around lunchtime tomorrow. Thanks and happy trick or treating!

Tuesday, October 30th: Good morning!
The crew is prepping and painting on the 2nd floor today. They’ve compelted the ceiling painting and are now prepping the walls before they begin painting.

Monday, October 29th: Hello and good morning!
We hope you all had a great weekend! The crew was cruising through the weekend and is prepping and painting on the 3rd floor. They are planning to be complete by noon and then move down to the 2nd floor – to prep/paint ceilings, walls, and accents.

Thursday, October 25th: Good afternoon!
The crew is prepping on the 3rd floor- taping off the ceilings, around woodwork, doors, alcoves and papering the carpet. They’ll be spraying the ceiling first and then moving to walls and accents. The crew will be onsite on Satuday to maximize efficiencies and keep to schedule. They are projecting to be on the 3rd floor until Monday and then moving to the 2nd floor on Monday or Tuesday. Thanks!

Wednesday, October 24th: Greetings residents of Mississippi Flats.
The crew is finishing up their prep and painting on the 4th floor and will move on down to the 3rd floor around lunch time. We’ll start the whole process over again – ceilings, walls, & alcoves.

The crew is wrapping up their painting of the walls and accent areas and will then move down to the 4th floor and begin their prep work before spraying the ceilings. They’ll then follow the same order of ceilings, walls, and accent areas on this floor and then continue to make their way down to the 1st floor.

The crew is continuing to paint on the 5th floor and are also starting to paint the accent color around your resident doors and in the hallways.

Tuesday, October 16th: Hello residents of Mississippi Flats in St. Paul!
We are spoiled with another sunny day and it looks like the cheery weather will continue through the end of the week!
The crew is continuing to prep areas of ceiling and walls as well as spray the ceilings.

Monday, October 15th: Good morning and Happy Monday!
This is it! We’ve started at your project at Mississippi Flats and we are excited to be onsite!
The crew is beginning with prep work, starting on the 5th floor. They’ll prep and paint the ceiling, followed by prep and paint of the walls and accent alcoves/door frames. Today, they’ll only be prepping as there was a change to the ceiling color- they are now be painted a brighter white color.

Friday, October 5th: Hello and welcome to your project blog!
We’ll be getting started on Monday, 10/15 at your condo building. For this year’s project, we’ll be prepping and painting in your residence hallways and also installing corner guards. More specifically, we’ll be painting your hallway/common area walls/ceilings, stairway walls/ceilings, lobby/vestibule walls and ceilings, and common area door frames.
We’ll be starting on the 5th floor and making our way down. The ceilings will be the first to be painted, followed by the walls. Once all of the floors have been painted, we’ll transition to the stairwells and common areas.
We ask that you please use caution when in the hallways as there will be wet paint.
