Monday, September 20th: Good morning!

There are several doors we need to repaint because of a mis-tint in the paint color. You should have a received a red notice on your door if we need to repaint your door. Please schedule a time to be home and open the door to be painted in the open position. Remaining and unscheduled doors will be painted while closed on Saturday 9/25.

Thank you for your cooperation and patience as we sorted through the mis-tint and we apologize for any inconvenience caused.

We’ll see you this week to paint the doors and wrap up the project!

Monday, September 13th: Good afternoon!

The crew is anticipating being back onsite to paint several doors that were painted the wrong color. We are tentatively scheduled for this painting to happen on September 25th and potentially some times on September 24th.

We’ll be posting notices ahead of our painting and opening more time slots in the calendar above as we near the date(s).

Wednesday, September 8th: Good afternoon!

Our production supervisor is walking the property and marking areas with blue tape for touch ups. Kindly leave these areas marked with the tape for the crew. Thank you!

Friday, September 3rd: Good morning!

With the overnight rain we are postponing appointments until 11am. Please reschedule above if you had an 8am, 9am or 10am appointment for later today or tomorrow. This is our final attempt to paint while the door is open. Remaining doors after tomorrow’s last appointment will be painted in the closed position. Thank you!

Friday, August 27th: Good morning!

We are cancelling the door appointments for today, Friday due to rain. We are hopeful to keep the appointments for tomorrow. Please reschedule for tomorrow if you are able with the link above. Stay tuned for an update on a make up date. Thank you!

Thursday, August 19th: Greetings!

The crew is back onsite continuing to follow the appointment list and scrape, sand, prime and paint the front doors.

Wednesday, August 18th: Good morning!

Door painting is kicking off today. The crews have the appointment list they’ll be following for the day. Several doors are needing more prep work – sanding and priming. We are also painting 2 coats of paint. All to say, this may add some time to the appointments and potentially cause delays. We appreciate your patience as we are working through the doors as quick as we can and will have more crew members onsite shortly to accommodate the additional work needed on the doors. Thank you!

Wednesday, August 11th: Greetings Residents of Hastings Century South!

Welcome to your project blog for the upcoming front door painting project. We are looking forward to being onsite!

Please be advised that our crews will be onsite attempting to paint your residence doors starting next week. Our crews will be taking appointments on Wednesday 8/18, Thursday 8/19, Friday 8/20, and Saturday 8/21 and also the following week on Friday 8/27 and Saturday 8/28 for the final attempt. If you have not scheduled a time to have your door painted by 8/28, we will paint your door in the closed position.

The finishing of the unit doors will require participation from each homeowner to paint the door in the open position. Crew members will be knocking on unit doors throughout the community and if you are available, please open the door to have us paint.

If you prefer to sign up for a window of time to have your door painted, please use the calendar scheduling tool above to make an appointment and one of our crew will be available at your scheduled time to complete the painting. Scheduled appointments will be prioritized over knocking on doors.

Once the doors are painted, they will need to be left open for a minimum of 2.5 hours after completion. Roell Painting will not be responsible and/or will not perform touch-ups for damages caused by closing doors too early.
