Tuesday, October 7th: We are finally past the hot temps of September. Did you know that only 6 of the 30 days of the month were cooler than normal? The rest were warmer than normal, and many days significantly so. The average September temperature was +4.1 deg F above normal, which ties us for the 8th warmest September in 152 years of records in the Twin Cities!

The warm and dry weather made it easier for us to paint but we are glad to get some cooler fall weather this week! We thank you for the opportunity to work on your association; it is truly a privilege to have the chance to beautify your exteriors.

The walkthrough will happen today and the crew will be back to perform any touch-ups required.

Friday, October 3rd: Happy Friday! Our crew has completed the staining and is planning to do a walk-through on Monday to perform an inspection. In the meantime, we ask that you let some more time pass before moving anything back onto the decks.

Tuesday, September 30th: Hello all and welcome to the last day of September. We can hardly believe that we are entering October, which is typically the last month of the year where we paint and stain exteriors! It has been a packed summer and early fall and we are excited to report that we are on Building #3, which means that we should be getting close to completing the project. Below are some photos from Building #3!

It looks like we are going to get another long stretch of dry weather – which will help with exterior painting season but the plants are probably really itching for some water! Have a good week!

Monday, September 22nd: Welcome to the last full week in September and we’re sure glad the rain has departed us and we’re hoping to return this Thursday to have enough time for the decks to dry out. It is possible we will return earlier on Wednesday but to be safe we have Thursday planned.

Rain totals ranged from shy of an inch to close to 2 inches across the metro and southern Minnesota, with a small area far east and into western Wisconsin recording around 3 inches. Some rain totals from the National Weather Service are as follows. You can see Rosemount got quite a bit!

  • Minneapolis — 0.93″
  • St. Paul — 1.52″
  • Apple Valley — 1.3″
  • Chanhassen — 0.13″
  • Coon Rapids — 0.77″
  • Eagan — 1.04″
  • Eden Prairie — 0.65″
  • Edina — 1.4″
  • Faribault — 1.28″
  • Inver Grove Heights — 1.61″
  • Minnetonka — 1.2″
  • Maple Grove — 0.31″
  • Point Douglas — 3.44″
  • Red Wing — 2.28″
  • Rosemount — 2.64″
  • Woodbury — 2.3″

Friday, September 19th: Happy Friday – the pressure washing has completed but we are rain delayed today. We will wait for the decks to dry out and plan to return likely on Monday, weather permitting. We will let you know if plans change!

Have a great weekend!

Thursday, September 18th: Welcome to Thursday – the team is on Building #4 and plans to finish up today with pressure washing. The decks will need a bit of time to dry out and the weather appears like we may get some rain tomorrow, but we will keep a close watch on it. If the rain holds off we will be starting tomorrow but more than likely it will occur next Monday morning. Here are some photos from the last building pressure washing today:

Wednesday, September 17th: Hello all – we began pressure washing this week and you can see the crew below in a few photos. Carpentry is also beginning this week as well. Stay tuned for more updates!

Thursday, September 11th: Good morning all – we are getting ready to begin the pressure washing of the decks next week on Monday, September 15th. We just posted a welcome video from the project manager, Dan Bogenholm. Take a look at what he has to say about what you can expect for the project and we look forward to being onsite in Rosemount next week!

Wednesday, September 3rd: Please be advised that our crew will begin pressure washing decks at the first building in our proposed sequence above on: MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 15th

We kindly request that each resident please remove all personal items or decorations from your fence areas during the washing to allow for safe & unobstructed access for the crew when washing. Once the substrates have had adequate time to dry, the crew will return to begin prepping and staining the included decking on the first building in our proposed sequence and will follow the buildings sequentially until all decks have been completed.

We are projecting that prep & staining will start on: THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 18th (Weather permitting)

We will be using our online project blog to inform residents of pertinent project details, our schedule, and any weather delays during the project.

If you have any immediate questions or concerns, please reach out to the contacts below.  Email is the preferred form of communication.

We are looking forward to getting started and working with and for you!
