Hilo Avenue Townhomes – Oakdale

Greetings and welcome to your project blog for the upcoming project at Hilo Avenue Townhomes. We are thrilled to be working with and for you this summer! 

Wednesday, September 3rd:

Good morning all – the Production Supervisor and the crew will be walking the property on Thursday to ensure all painting work has been completed. The additional carpentry work is beginning tomorrow and then the crew will complete any painting after on the areas that received carpentry work. We were not onsite yesterday as there was a bit of rain at the beginning of the day. We are hoping that we will get another few days of dry weather so that the project can wrap up by mid-month! Thanks for your patience and we look forward to you seeing the exterior improvements in their final form.

Thursday, August 28th:

Good afternoon – an update to let you know that there will be some additional carpentry work occurring during the week of 9/2 that has been authorized by the association.  The crew has been working hard and is now working on Building #11 and #12; they are possibly going to wrap up a majority of the painting this weekend (by Saturday) but note that touch-ups / revisits will occur on the areas that are getting carpentry next week. There will be a final walkthrough with the association manager / Roell Painting production supervisor to ensure we’ve completed all of our work to the satisfaction of the association.

Thursday, August 21st: 

Hello all – we are complete with Building #1 and are working on Building #2 & #3. We will get you an update and hopefully some better photos in the next day to update the blog. 

Thursday, August 14th:

Hello all – carpentry is in full swing. We are still planning to pressure wash starting on Friday but will let you know if that changes.

Saturday, August 9th:

Hello Residents of Hilo Avenue Townhomes – Looks like rain will be pushing back carpentry until Tuesday, 8/12. We will let you know if this changes.

Wednesday, August 6th:

Hello Residents – carpentry work will begin on Monday, August 11th. Once the carpentry / repairs are completed we plan to pressure wash; the estimated start date is August 15th. We look forward to starting your project next Monday!

Monday, August 4th:

Please be advised that our crew will begin pressure washing included deck areas at the first building in our proposed sequence on: FRIDAY, AUGUST 15^th

 We kindly request that each resident please remove all decorations and personal items from areas included for the washing and finishing to allow for safe & unobstructed access for the crew.

Once the substrates have had adequate time to dry, the crew will return to begin prepping, staining, & painting included deck / trim areas on the first building in our proposed sequence and will follow the buildings sequentially until all decks are completed.  We are projecting that prep & finishing will start on: MONDAY, AUGUST 18^th (Weather permitting)

 We will be using this project blog to inform residents of pertinent project details, our schedule and any weather delays during the project. We realize that this project may disrupt your daily routine, and we will do our best to complete it as quickly as possible so that everyone can enjoy the remainder of the summer.
