Project COMPLETE

Greetings and welcome to your project blog for your upcoming painting project! We are thrilled to be onsite this spring to spruce up your exteriors!

Friday, June 6th: The touch-up work is complete and this project is finished. We thank you for your partnership and we hope you enjoy the rest of the spring/summer season!

Wednesday, June 4th: Hello all – we hope you are enjoying the clearer air and sunny skies today! The Project Supervisor, Jason, has stated that the project is substantially complete – pending some touch-ups. We aim to wrap the project up within the week as long as the association approves the work is complete.

Tuesday, June 3rd: Rain may slow us down today but we hope to be resuming tomorrow!

Monday, June 2nd: Hello and welcome to a warm and windy start to our week!

We are finishing up the remaining decks today and a small few details remain on the buildings. We should finish this project up this week. Thank you for your patience and partnership on the project!

Friday, May 30th: Appears we will have some drier weather next week which will allow us to get those decks stained ASAP!

Wednesday, May 28th: Due to the rain we’re delaying the remaining decks. As soon as weather permits and decking dries out, we will be back out to continue the deck staining. Thanks for your patience!

Tuesday, May 27th: Work has resumed today – currently staining decks at 3866; if your deck has yet to be stained it will be stained in the next 2-3 days.

Friday, May 23rd: Happy Memorial Day weekend to all! Painting has resumed and approval has been given for work to continue this weekend on Saturday.

Wednesday, May 21st: – Rain delay today – scheduled door painting will still occur tomorrow as planned. We will resume staining decks next week of Tuesday, May 27th. Painting of other areas will resume on Friday, May 23rd.

Tuesday, May 20th: Hello all! It’s a rainy and cold day, which means that project work is halting today because of the rain.

The forecast for later in the week looks better so we are hopeful that we will resume on Thursday. Stay tuned and check in here tomorrow for an update.

In the meantime, feel free to schedule your front door painting here: https://www.paintmyfrontdoor.com.

Monday, May 19th: Hello all! We have reached the point of the project where we will be scheduling front door painting.

Front door painting will begin on Thursday, May 22nd.

Painting of your front door will require participation from each homeowner to paint the door in the open position.  Community members need to select a date & time at the website below that works within your schedule to have your front door painted in the open position. After the door is painted, it must remain open for a minimum of 2.5 hours. If you do not wish to have your door painted do not schedule an appointment. To schedule a time please visit:

The crews continue to work on decks at this point but we anticipate there will be some delays with rain on Tuesday and Wednesday this week. We will update the blog tomorrow with the plan for the week pending weather delays.

Friday, May 16th: Hello and welcome back cooler temperatures to the metro!

Deck staining is what we are focusing on as the weather allows; the rain today seems to be starting later than originally forecast.

Thanks and have a great weekend! Here’s to hoping for calmer winds and dry skies for the planned work next week.

Thursday, May 15th: Happy Thursday, aka Friday JR.!

Deck staining is in progress. We will focus on that as weather allows during the next few days. Once all decks are completed we will finish up building painting.

We plan to update you tomorrow with any changes to the plans.

Monday, May 12th: Happy Monday! The crew are still hard at work starting off the week. We will get you an update on what buildings will be completed this week and the plan for the remainder of the buildings. Below are some photos of the crew hard at work.

Thursday, May 8th: Happy Friday JR. to those that celebrate! Painting began yesterday and staining will commence as planned on Friday. We will update you with progress on Friday/Monday.

Thanks and enjoy the rest of your week!

Tuesday, May 6th: Happy Tuesday to all on this lovely spring day!

An update for you all. Painting of the select trim will begin as planned on WEDNESDAY, MAY 7TH. The staining should begin on FRIDAY, MAY 9TH.

We will plan to give you an update tomorrow/Thursday at some point and then again on Friday this week! Take a peek of some of the crew progress photos below:

Friday, May 2nd: Greetings Parkwoode HOA!

Welcome to your project blog for the upcoming exterior project. We are excited to be working together this year!

We kindly request that each homeowner remove all small personal belongings from the outside of your home and items off of your decks to allow for safe & unobstructed access for the pressure washing.

After decking surfaces have been washed, the wood will need time to dry and during that time we will begin painting select trim that will be hand cleaned (i.e., front door frames, shutters, garage frames, etc.) on WEDNESDAY, MAY 7TH in our proposed sequence above. We anticipate that the entire project (deck painting and trim painting) will be completed within 4 – 6 weeks; however, your unit/building will be completed much sooner. Please be aware that the weather will likely affect our completion schedule. Once the substrates have had time to dry, we anticipate returning to the association as soon as possible to begin deck preparation and painting on the first building in our proposed sequence in the above map on: MONDAY, MAY 12TH

We realize that this project may disrupt your daily routine, and we will do our best to complete it as quickly as possible so that everyone can enjoy the remainder of the spring. To view the most recent information, projected washing / staining schedule, and other weather-related delays / impacts, please check back often to this project blog.

Please reach out to the contacts below if you have any questions. E-mail is the preferred form of communication.
