Wesley Commons HOA – Golden Valley

Project Complete


Greetings and welcome to your project blog for your upcoming project at Wesley Commons HOA in Golden Valley. We are excited to be onsite this fall. 


Monday, November 17th: Good afternoon and Happy Monday – we hope you all enjoyed the last little bit of warm weather last week! Today the Roell Painting Project Manager was onsite to perform a final walkthrough and touch-ups were marked accordingly. The team should be completing them this week and then the project will be marked as complete. We appreciate your assistance as we worked through this project and hope you enjoy your new interiors!

Friday, November 14th: Happy Friday! Building #2 will be wrapping up today. The Production Supervisor will be doing a walk-through for Building #1 to mark touch-ups that are needed. Building #3 will not be completed as originally projected and will be finishing on Monday / Tuesday. Below are some photos of Building #3:

Monday, November 10th: Good afternoon! The first building has completed but is awaiting final touch-up work from the crew after a walk-thru has been performed. In the second building the crew is currently work on the walls. Building #3 was started on Friday and they are currently mudding the walls after removing the wallpaper. Below are some updated photos from each of the buildings. The team is expecting to complete all of the work by this Friday, November 14th.

Thursday, November 6th: Good morning – we are planning to begin the 3rd building at Wesley Commons on Friday.

The Roell Painting Project Manager will be onsite later today and will be posting notices in the building. 

Tuesday, November 4th: Happy Tuesday – we’re hard at work on 7930 – see photos below of the progress. This work should be completing tomorrow:

Monday, November 3rd: Happy Monday! The crew started the wall paper removal process in building 620 on Saturday and will be moving along with skim coating & sanding. We will do our best to contain the dust, but please know that some will likely get tracked into your unit as you walk through the halls.

The Board of Directors also decided to have the chair rail trim piece removed along with the wall paper in all three buildings, so the crew will have some additional mudding & skim coating to complete in building 7930. Doing this will give the hallway walls a more updated look and save the HOA money by not having to maintain them in the future, either by re-staining or painting.

As of now, we plan to be wrapped up in building 7930 by tomorrow or Wednesday and 620 by early next week. We will post notices later this week once we have a better idea of when we want to start building 625.

Friday, October 31st: Happy Halloween – the crew is moving along and headed to another building tomorrow! We hope you all have a nice weekend – more picture updates to come next week!

Wednesday, October 19th: Welcome to Wednesday!

The crews are back onsite and they will be propping the doors open like they did yesterday. If the paint / primer odor is persisting we recommend that you open / crack your windows as well. We appreciate your patience!

Tuesday, October 18th: Happy Tuesday to all!

We wanted to let you know that we will be applying primer today and the smell will be strong – we recommend that you crack a window in your unit in order to mitigate the odor. Here are some photos from the preparation yesterday – you can see that the crew was hard at work at wallpaper removal and there is protection on the flooring. Thanks for your patience as we work to improve your interior spaces!

Monday, October 17th: Greetings!

Welcome to your project blog for your project at Wesley Commons in Golden Valley. Our crews began preparation today for the common area project of wallpaper removal, painting of vestibule, hallway, stairwell, & elevator lobby walls & ceilings, as well as metal accent trim.

We kindly request that each homeowner be aware of wet paint while using common areas & hallways. Roell Painting Company will not be responsible for any damages if paint gets on your clothes or personal belongings.

The included scope of work for our company will take about 7 – 10 working days to complete the included interior areas for each building.

We understand this project will have an impact to your daily routine and will do our best to complete the project promptly so everyone can return to their daily routine.
